hi mylot friends,

I have tasted several types of coffee, that is filter coffee,Instant coffee,Black coffee,Shonti Coffee ,Espresso coffeerofl, and recently i have known about the "Turkish coffee",it seems to be our regular coffee ,just like instant coffee,i do not know is there is any difference in our coffee and in Turkish coffee, have you ever drink Turkish coffee, here all about the information about Turkish coffee, have a nice day with coffeehave a nice day

Turkish coffee is taken at extremely hot temperatures and is usually served with a glass of cold water to freshen the mouth to better taste the coffee. It is traditionally served with Turkish delight. In the Mediterranean and southeastern Turkey, pistachio grains (kakuli/menengiƧ) may be added into the coffee. All of the coffee in the pot is poured into cups, but not all of it is drunk. The thick layer of sludgy grounds at the bottom of the cup is left behind.

I first tasted it when I was working in cyprus, they drink turkish coffee there, and I was waiting for a taxi to take me home and the taxi office boss made me a cup to try, I had more sugar in it than people usually do but it was quite nice, you need the glass of water after though, they told me that was the way everyone drank it and it was very nice. The worst I ever tried was in Egypt, very thick and sludgy, couldnt drink it, ended up with a cup of hicibus tea, very nice! I will give most things a try, especially when Im in another country. Enjoy your day!

Whenever my children take me to a coffee shop in malls, they make me drink varieties of coffee like Cappuccino, Latte etc. But I have not tasted Turkish coffee. Is it like black coffee? I do not like black coffee or black tea. But for me, nothing like filter coffee.

Hey there yugasini, I wasn't familiar with Turkish coffee at all. It sounds very interesting, however I don't think that I would like it. Especially with all of those sludgy grounds still left in the bottom.

I like to drink one type of shake which is called a Jamocha shake. It has a coffee flavor. I also like to drink the french vanilla cappicinos that you can purchase here in the United States at local convenience stores. Other than that, I have just never been able to acquire a taste for coffee.

Oh yes, there is one other type. It is the ice coffee that you can buy in the summer at Starbucks. However, I have only tried it one time. And that was when I was in Boston and it was 105 degrees fahrenheit outside. It could have just tasted good because it was icy cold, and it was so hot outside. LOL Anyways, that day it tasted really good, and I was with my x who was the one who ordered it. He got upset because I drank all of his coffee.

Thanks for sharing the new information and teaches us here on myLot, and have a beautiful day!
