| Percy Jackson and the Olympians  | | | |  Who's read these books? Who loves them?
I do! I just finished the last one a couple days ago. I'm a big fan of greek mythology and I really like recognizing all the familiar elements, plus the elements that Riordan puts a unique twist on. My favorite book was the last one, "The Last Olympian". It was just the kind of happy ending that I wanted. I like greek mythology, but I'm not a big fan of tragic endings. lol
Who else here has read them?

| |  i have! the book is good, just like the harry potter series but with a more realistic setting. the good thing i like about the series is that i was able to review mythology all over again. the book was kind of different from the movie, but i think that was kind of expected.

| | I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've already heard some things about it. I think I'll wait until it reaches the 2nd run theaters before I go to see it. I do want to see it but I don't want to spend $10 on it if there's a chance I won't like it very much. I'll just wait until it goes 2nd run and see it for $1.
I really enjoyed Percy Jackson more than Harry Potter. With Harry Potter it felt like every book had basically the same story with the exact same cast.
