What would be your dream account as a Call center agent?  

I think technical supports are the highest paid inbound agents and I notice that their calls were much calm and they dont experience much rude customers, only dumb and stupid ones who cant pick up. I see your point why you want this type of account.

I think tech support agents have 5 to 10 clients a day compared to customer service and telemarketers who got hundreds. As long as you were good at computer, I think technical support is easy since some of the problems are not that technical at all.

Haha! Great. 5-10 satisfied customer a day, seems good enough for me. At least less stressful. :)

a single call make took hours, depends on how stupid or dumb your clients is. Or it may also take long if their problem was to severe like a crashed system.

Then they need home service tech's. :P

I think Geek squad sends a repairman if an agent cant solve it by phone but its bad for the agent.

@_@ like that was the agent's fault that the customer can't understand simple English. :P

Have you heard about the English teacher for Koreans type of account? I wonder if its gonna work for me but I heard you have to learn basic korean.

That is what my cousin is doing. :) But she didn't have to learn their basic language. They need College graduate for this. :)

LO that is a BOT not an actually agent. but that would be funny. Anyway the billing agents are the only call-centers who have right to be rude to customers.

Another type of callcenter agent is a Phone tutor, Yup you are going to be a phone teacher to child. Usually these accounts were common in India. English teacher for Koreans is also a popular call center job, you will teach a Korean child how to speak English via phone. the pay is really high.

I think I can do the Job if I can speak and read Korean, You your self can earn big as an English teacher for Koreans and Japanese if you are willing to learn their language.Its a job you can do via phone and computer. You can even work independently at home.

Medical transcription is also another telephone Job at home. All you need to do was to type everything the doctor say on the telephone. I will never go back to telemarketing, it will make my job shorter.

Inbound sales on the other hand is much better than outbound sales that was nothing but complete rejection that leads to depression.If you can choose a department where do you want to go?

Its so different because the client is the one at our mercy, they cant disrespect as because we are in control and power. Phonesex operator is not bad as long as you wont reveal your identity. Imagine you can do it while playing PSP.
