| I Want To Move To Las Vegas | | | | My best friend moved to Las Vegas 5 years ago and I've wanted to move there ever since. She has had so much fun. Her rent and utility bills are lower than mine and life is just better over there. I have been curious about moving there to see how it would work out for me but I just haven't had the funds. She has worked at casino's [she is a chef] and she has made so much money. She says that the pay there is so much higher than most places. I have a lot of Administrative experience. I wonder how much they pay for that. I am also a medical assistant...down here [in Florida] they start medical assistants at $12 an hour but that's barely enough to get by here. She says over there that they pay medical assistants way more than that but $12 an hour there is great because the bills are cheaper. I'm really considering it because things are getting really rough for me here living on my own with no help and it sucks even more because I am single with no children. I need a better option. Does anyone have any suggestions?? -Sayurii | | Las Vegas | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | You're lucky because during these hard times you have no one to mind except yourself. It's harder if you have children to support. If I were in your shoes, I'll try moving to Las Vegas. From what I've heard of, working visa are allowed there. Since you are already a resident of the United States, visa will no longer of concern to you. If they allow working visa or permit there, I presume there are more jobs there. But so as not to be left empty handed, it would be better if you get a job there first before moving in. | | Make sure you can get a job first. Vegas is a city that does well when the economy does well- when people have extra money to spend. When the economy is hurting, Vegas really hurts. If you really want to move, just try putting away a little money each month. After a little while, you'll have a good chunk of money to fund the move. If rent and utility bills are too high for you now, I see no reason in not trying to move out there. | | | | | | | | | | Flight Deals to Las Vegas Bid on Airfare to Las Vegas, Opening Bid $1 skyauction.com | add comment | | | |
