Have you ever been to Cebu?  

I've been to Cebu several times, sometimes for work and sometimes for pleasure. Although I agree with you on some level, but I found Cebu to be too hot as it has lost a lot of its forest cover. The one that does it for me is actually Puerto Princesa. It has awesome natural resources, slow pace of life and very low cost of living. I know other people like Cebu better though because it has a night life. A decade or so ago I would have agreed with them. Nowadays, the night life gives me a headache. Getting old...

i've been to Cebu but its for work and it took only for a day.
its an exhausting sched.. i wake up at 2:30am but my flight is 6:45am and way back, my flight is 10:45pm on the same day and it take 1 hour only for my appointment..

hi boybato, been here in cebu hehehe for I was born and raised here.but specifically I am from Lapulapu city.. Agree Cebu is one of the best place in the philippines. And the beaches are so nice...from north to south of cebu we have a lot of tourist spots to offer..

I've been to cebu once but due to some unavoidable reasons. i was on my way to cagayan de oro then but due to bad weather, the plane we're boarding was unable to land. The pilot decided to land the plane in Mactan instead. It was an exciting trip although a bit of a hassle since we have to ride a van to the pier to catch a boat to Mindanao if we don't want to go back to metro manila on the same plane. I'm sure cebu would be a nice place to visit if you have enough time to go sight seeing. My experienced that time was not something worthy to reminisce about since my view was limited inside a cramped van. The weather was not good either and it was already dusk when we reached the pier. But the plane ride and the turbulence was quite an experience.

Actually Cebu is the best place i ever saw. There i saw a lot of beautiful women and big schools. unlike our city its so boring. I really wanna go there again because my crush is there and i want to see her again ^_^. Do you know where to find computer science jobs there? If you have info please tell me.

Wow! I'm so glad to know that you are from Cebu too. Well, I grew up in Cebu too specifically in Sibonga. How I love the beautiful beaches from North to South. I miss everything about Cebu. I've been away from home for almost 5 months now and hope that I could go home next year and spend my vacation in my hometown.

yes i've been in cebu and i'll still be staying here for another 7 months. I haven't explored a lot of places yet because of hectic schedules but indeed,cebu is one of the great places in the world, it's just that, it's hotter in here
compared to other cities.I'm looking forward to see a lot of tourist spot in here.

For me it is true because I'm living in Cebu may tourist spot here specially in Bohol and the white sand beaches in Mo-al bo-al,Argao.

Cebu is one of the places I am dying to see. I have been to Boracay but I have heard Cebu has a lot of things to offer as well. I wanted to see the famous landmarks like Basilica Minore del Santo Nino, Fort San Pedro, Lapu Lapu Shrine, Magellan's Cross, Magellan Shrine and Taoist Temple. We were supposed to go to Cebu last year but to unavoidable circumstances, we didn't. Hopefully, the postponed Cebu trip would push through before the year comes to end. I want to stay in one of the resorts at Bantayan Island with hubby. :)

I guess i've been more forgetfull than before, no wonder you choose Gibo. it's because he is supported mainly by almost every politician in the area. but i've heard that Cebu is another World compare to NCR and other metropolitan Cities. and to most people they prefer greatly to talk in Cebuano than tagalog, it's a pride thing for you guys there.

there was even a lotter who wanted a Cebu to an independent nation.the island has so many important land marks that withholds the country's history.
