How do you organize your beading supplies?  

I have my beads and supplies organized based on color/ similar appeal really but like you my organization style changes frequently depending on my focus and available material. Currently I have several small plastic containers with dividers, plastic bags and tubes. I probably need something more uniform to help keep my supplies organized.

At the moment, my beading supplies are very disorganized! They are basically all in a plastic drawer at my house. I plan on having a more organized system, but for right now I have no time! lol

My son gets a prescription every month for ADHD and when the bottles are empty, I remove the labels, wash them out and put beads inside of the empty bottles. It works out great because the bottles have lids so if I knock them over by accident the beads don't spill. You can get a spice rack to put the bottles on so it's nice and neat in your work space.

I'm a total organisation freak, so I have the plastic storage containers with tons of little compartments. I organise generally by type, but if there are a lot of that type I'll split into colour as well. I like the plastic containers as you can see without opening them what's in them, so you don't have to search everything to find what you're looking for. I have large plastic drawers that I put all my craft stuff into as well.

while i dont do a ton of beading, i do do some. to that end i have gotten (as gifts) the tall boxes that hold screws (from the hardware section). they have lots of little drawers for each colour/style. also, fishing tackle boxes work well too.

I have plastic bins. I use and a tote my boyfriend got for me. I havent decided if I want to organzie by bead or by color right now. I think I should go with color. I have one for charms and pne for chains and one findings, then a bunch for different types of beads. I think it might be types instead of color.
