| |  I would disagree about the role you give to McLaren, but nonetheless the world is better having had the punks. In the same way, hippies, mods, rockers, and every other group contributed to the world.
Perhaps many of today's problems are because there isn't a defined fashion movement now.
The punks have at least made several come-backs over the years which is more than can be said for other groups.
