Tasty little rodents, I like Hossenfeifer, the spelling is probably off, but it is a Rabbit stew from Germany.

Now, the old testament, forbids rabbits, but I am not very clear on the New Testament Laws of food. I am new to the whole Bible thing, but, what does that have to do with eating rabbits.

I like the taste, I will eat it again, once I am sure it is okay in the sight of God. Sounds like you liked it to, just like chicken, just more earthy.

I think I ate rabbit once and it taste like a chicken. It is very delicious specially if cook in Filipino dish.

They are mainly bred for food in my country and I ate some when I was very young. Since I had a pet rabbit, I didn't ate them anymore, and I don't remember the taste. All I can say is that they are not cooked like chickens and that it's a dish for cold days -- people don't generally eat rabbits in summer, don't ask me why.

Rabbirs were a very popular food soure in Australia, in the forties and fifties. During and after the war meat, and chicken were very expensive, but rabbits were plentyful, and cheap.
I think baby lambs, calfs and and chickens are aslo very cute, but we eat them also, unless we are vegetarians or vegans.

No i have not eaten a rabbit. I don't think i will try to eat a rabbit in near future. They are very cute animals and I don't like to kill them.

Hi Cheysser, I dare not taste dish prepared from other domestic animals. I have been taking the same meat of chicken, fish as well as pork since my childhood. I find other meats which I'm not familiar with having the wired savor which make me feel reluctant to taste it. Therefore I haven't taken the meat of rabbit and other domestic animals before.

I still remember once I was having lunch together with my colleagues in a restaurant years ago. Dish of rabbit meat was served on the dinner table. I still refused to try it thought I was told it's really yummy Yeah, I just enjoyed eating other delicious dishes entertained and felt content as well

I love rabbit. I had listen about that people eat the rabbits & are very tasty to eat. But I had not eaten the rabbits.

I ate it once and it did taste like chicken. I had mine fried. I actually like it until I was told what it was.
