What is the Best Resolution for your LCD Monitor?   

I think 1024 by 768 pixel is good! It is normal in your vision and screen resolution of any LCD Monitor. It safe and cool to the eyes.

1920 x 1200 pixel --in different brand available, but you can have the best one on EIZO, that's the most luxurious price in my knowledge..

Now i use 1440* 900 .But when i watch a movie , it's very bad for seeing,likes cloud.

well, my resolution is 1280x 1024 for internet browsing, and when I had it- xbox 360. the monitor I use can go up to 1680x1050, but it stretches the picture too much. if I could, I would get a 1920x1080p monitor to play xbox360 games. I did notice the higher the resolution, the worse some of my older dvds looked on it; artifacts, film scratches,etc.

It really depends on what screen ratio you would pick. If you would pick for a widescreen then it still depends if it would be 16:9 or a wider one. If you would be going for movies then widescreen would also be good and for the resolution of the screen it also depends on the size of the screen. If it is not so large then a 1360 X 768 is already fine and if you would go for 20-incher or larger then go for a higher resolution so that the screen would look very sharp and clear but it also depends on your hardware if it supports a very high resolution one.

If it is used to watch movies, the best resolution is 1920*1200 or 1920*1080 coz it can display 1080p full HD videos and I recommend a brand View Sonic for its better RGB proportion and natural color.

I recommend 1024x768 coz this is the default resolution of fullscreen application. It should be branded like HP, Samsung, Lg.
I preferred viewsonic coz its low cost, great pixel, and good quality
I dont use widescreen LCD it will deform your photos specially if you're a photoshop user.. widescreen LCD are good only for watching movies

If you are really for the resolution, try considering for a Full HD or just an HD ready monitor. Their resolution is truly outstanding on watching videos. But a normal LCD is already nicer in terms of resolutions to that of CRT.
