Gold or artificial jewelry  

No i don't have such a allergy on gold or artificial jewelry. Usually i use artificial jewelry as gold is expensive. But then i never feen any kind of trouble. But yes i have allergy problem. Some foods make itches or red in my body. Then i take some medicine and it's recover. But it's not a serious problem.

i have no such allergies and love sterling silver jewellry because of the colour and the price. i love variety and stuff that is different and you can change the jewellry up a lot because sterling is so inexpensive.

I'm allergic to some artificial jewelry metals. I'm not certain which ones but there are some jewelry pieces that I'll wear and find myself breaking out in a rash and getting itchy. I am allergic to nickel which is used in a lot of jewellery. The main problem I have is with earrings, I can wear them for a few hours but I have to remember to take them out or my earlobes become sore and swollen. If this happens, when I try to remove the earrings its painful and can cause bleeding if the swelling is bad.

For this reason, I have to check the metal content when I buy earrings, and I have found the best ones have resin to go through the holes instead of metal. If I forget to take those out, no problem!

hi vodasandii I am not allergic to metals but my right leg broke out and I do not know what caused it, the doctor said its hives so that means a contact allergy. but its so odd that it is only on one leg. since taking a week of powerful steroids that nearly did me in the hives are now tiny pink dots but something sure was unkind to the skin of my leg. its still a mystery to me. hope it does not happen again. lol lol.

i have never heard of a wood allergy. that's really strange. maybe it's the varnish or paint you're allergic to.

i've never liked gold though i have kept the jewelry my mother gave me and my sisters. i only use it for very special occasions.

when silver become popular i noticed that i could only tolerate the earrings from the baby section, the sterilized kind. my ears itch when i wear artificial fancy over-the-counter jewelry.

my skin is not as sensitive as yours, i am glad of it. i have an allergy drinking beer, lol! artificial jewelry is nice for fashion purposes, for me i would rather wear artificial jewelry when going to attend a party, very attractive and fashionable. pure gold is very attractive to those people who like to steal things from others. so artificial is better if you do not have allergy, safe from thieves. have a nice day!

No, I am not allergic to any metal. I just do not like to wear any if I can help it. When occasion calls like a marriage or an official function, I will take them out to wear them. Otherwise, best to be free of any of these.
