How to judge a person correctly – by external characteristics or by other way?  

It really takes time to know a person. You can't just judge him/her through attitudes and physical appearance. As for me i am an open minded person and i don't judge people even if they make some mistakes or what because I believe that anyone is capable of being good and bad..

I do rate persons with external appearance mostly, but almost every time they were different from what i rated. Sometimes family, appearance,wearings etc 'd come to judge them bad but later when i come to know them well i realizes that i was wrong. And i feel sorry about it. Anyway i stopped this external looking method now..

Hi Judging a person's personality is not easy by looking at a single time. But there are more people who can predict their character by looking at the first time itself. We should would able to predict their personalities and their characters by looking at them. The way of dressing, their speech, their family background and the ornaments they are wearing tells us about their characters to some extent.

You really cannot judge a book by its cover. Sometimes the cover does not match up to what is inside. Of course, there are times where the cover is exactly like what is inside. It is really something that has to be dealt with on a case by case basis as there are different people and it might take different amounts of time to read then others.

Some people are very transparent, they show their true colors, whether they be good or bad, right away. Other people are not as transparent. As in it takes a bit of time to figure out what they are true like. Do our first impressions match up to what the person is in the end? Questions like that will take some time to answer and we have to be patient until those answers come.

In the end, our only indicator is our personal experiences with the person. We can see what they are like with our own two eyes and not hear second hand from others what they are like or rely on how they look. Over time, you will notice things and be able to make judgments. It may take quite an amount of time but you will be able to make a logical deduction before too long.

Long ago, I asked somebody this, and her reply was, give them a small chance to wrong you, if they refrain, then that person is worth trusting, if they dont, then go to a higher level wrong, till they reach a level that becomes unacceptable to you. This way, you know how much you can trust each person who comes into your life. I believe these were very wise words.

Judging of a person is very difficult. some persons may be different as they look. They may be good in the house but not outside. So we must observe what really they are then come to conclusion. See human mentality will be changing according the situation and at the different individuals.

Before prejudging a person, I look first deeper into his life, his values and reasons. How can we be sure that that the people we look up to have their moral values intact? Or, how about us, don't we have any skeletons in our closets? How about assessing ourselves first before judging other people. One should give a habit of judging others a "reverse twist" by focusing on the graces of people, not their faults. The bottom line is I do not judge other people because I don't want them to judge me also.
