in the quiet of my mind |

| in the quiet of my mind whispering and dancing circling and chanting snickering and pointing poking and laughing round and round faster and faster swirling and twirling shouting and screaming bashing and dashing cut and run run and scream screaming mad so i have recently realized that i am working through a bi polar switch. i am glad i am starting to recognize them so i can learn how better to deal with them. im noticing that they are happening about the same time of the year every year. end of winter early spring. up until now i have had trouble seeing it for what it was, cuz i been spending the rest of the year trying to fix myself and what i messed up during the switch, but now... now it can be different. i realized this one somewhere right before the usual freak out in which i quit a job or run off a friend. i was on the line of doing something irrational but i stopped. i stopped and took some meds.. thank you lord for allowing me to see this. | | | | | |

| | I have at least one very good friend who is bipolar. She manages it well, but has not always. I would stand up and be one of your biggest cheerleaders in that you know what is going on and you are managing things well. Good job, keep it up, and know that you are a very worthwhile person. Even without a label, we all mess up from time to time. | | | | | | |

| | thank you.. i have not always managed it as well as i am now, myself. each time i seem to notice sooner and handle it just a bit better than the last, but i do have to really pay attention to myself. it really helps to have a husband that will not just freak out cuz i seem outta my head too. he knows what i am going through and is awesome. | | | |

| | oh honey. i am so sorry you are going through that. i am/was the same way. with the talking non-stop about nothing or even worse crazy things. i get so confused sometimes. even the disappearing. when i would disappear i just went to a friends house to hide out for a couple days. i would always let my hubby know where i was but no one else. i lost several jobs cuz of all the madness. its aweful for a family to have to go through that. my first husband left me because i was a too crazy for him to deal with. it was easy for me to believe that i was bipolar. besides the fact that i felt stark raving mad i had grown up with my father being bipolar and not taking care of it or himself. he just self medicated with alcohol. not a good idea. i have already said a little prayer for you and your family. i do hope he can get some help and you can have some rest.. | | | |
