Could you live without eating bread? Any bread at all.. |
| |
| I had my surgery August 20th would you believe the one thing i could not live without was bread? I have not had any bread since my surgery. I don't eat sandwiches any more. My favorites were peanut butter and jelly and turkey and cheese. I lost over 68 pounds so far. I don't think I will ever eat bread again. I do want a subway sandwich at times. But the bread is not something I miss. Could you live without eating bread? | | | | | |

| | No , I couldn't live without eating bread I enjoy it too much. I eat every kind from flat breads, garlic breads, and simple barra's. I am such a carb junkie that I don't think I could ever give it up. | | | | | | |

| | I could. Actually I would like rice better than bread. But don't get me wrong. I love bread to. I eat bread at morning and during snacks. I can but I think I don't need to stop eating bread for now. | | | | | | |

| | Hi giftsandbagscom, I did not have any problem if I did not take a bread for a day or for a few months. At my place, our main menu is rice. We only take bread occasionally. But I would have a big problem when I can not take rice anymore. Its need a lot of time before we can adjust our body to accept anything to replace our main menu. | | | | | | |

| | giftsandbagscom, John C. Maxwell once said: “Remember, man does not live on bread alone: sometimes he needs a little buttering up.” I do not know the reason or reasons why you have to stay away from bread but if there is any validity, then please heed your doctor's advice. Fortunately, I can still enjoy my bread and/or sandwiches. So, I am having a ball of a time with it, though I must admit that bread isn't exactly my favorite or something I cannot do without. Here, I love sandwiches made from wholemeal and various freshly baked gourmet breads where they have various fillings of meat, coconut shavings, sausages, cheese or red bean paste. | | | | | | |

| | If you had asked that question 3 months ago, I would have said no as I have a fondness for cheese and pickle sandwiches. However, I am trying to lose a bit of weight and so I decided to stop eating sandwiches and substitute them with salad. And, surprisingly, I don't really miss bread anymore. Sure, I have the odd time when I really fancy a sandwich but not often x | | | | | | |

| | As long as I do not bake it at home, I can live without eating bread. I make some really yummy types of bread with herbs and I would miss them, especially when they are fresh. I do not eat a lot of sandwiches. When I am at a restaurant or something and they have hot bread, I think I want it but it is not as good as what I imagine, so I end up not liking it. | | | | | | |

| | Yes you can, carbs are not all bread. You can have a baked potato, you could eat flat pita, you can eat celery, carrots, and much more, be creative and read more about what you need to do, you'll find all sorts of good stuff! :) I don't eat too much bread at all. It makes me feel tired | | | | | | |
