President Obama Expanding Hospital Visitation Rights   

Thanks for responding Veromar, it is about time! If I'm injured or on my deathbed etc., why should the gender or orientation of my visiting loved ones matter? of course, it shouldn't! Glad to see a president who cares about making progress for the people.

The thing is CJgirly, for some stupid reason, it's always been that way in the U.S. Just because the country was founded by the "Puritans" doesn't mean it has to stay that way. The country is resisting change, even in the simplest forms such as this topic, if you only listen to media influenced by the "right" (funny name for the group that touts "traditional values" and bucks against moving into the 21st century as a people....lol). At any rate, I really believe President Obama has the people's best interests at heart. There's a humanity to his decisions that has been lacking in past presidents. A shame that "they'll" probably find a way to make him the only 1-term president in decades. Hopefully not.
