Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal fundraiser and her boyfriend burtally attacked   

This reeks of something that SEIU and/or other left-wing radical groups might do. I hope it's investigated thoroughly, the same way it'd be investigated if it had been a liberal couple that was attacked. Although it hasn't been proven that pro-Obama people have done this, it would not surprise me at all if it were indeed the case.

What a shame that this happened. I hope who ever is responsible is caught and prosecuted.

I think any body attacking anybody else should be held responsible. I understand that we are all passionate about politics, these things will effect the rest of our lives. But violence is not the solution.
Lets prove that we are a civilized society by showing that we can peacefully protest and change things with our vote.

Jindal's office is denying political motivation, the police are denying political motivation, the victims are not saying it was politically motivated, and even Michelle Malkin is casting doubt. Does anyone have anything that is not from a blog indicating that it was politically motivated?

That's also what the police are saying, most likely because that's also what Joseph Brown, Allee Bauthsch's boyfriend and the other victim of the attack, is saying. Given that he was there, he's probably in a position to know.

It would not be the first time that conservative bloggers jumped the gun in blaming violence on the left. Previously, conservative bloggers have claimed that a liberal protester bit off the finger of a tea party protester, ignoring the fact that the reason the tea party protester's finger was in the liberal's mouth was that the teab party protester was punching the liberal protester. (In fact, the fact that the author of watercooler you quote in this post continues persists in this distortion of the truth, it calls his honesty into question altogther.)

In any event, here's hoping for a speedy recovery to Ms Bautsch and Mr. Brown, as well as a speedy arrest, trial, and conviction of their assailants -- whatever their motivation might have been.

First of all I'd like to say that regardless of what motivated the attack it was just plain wrong and I wish Ms. Bautsch a speedy and total recovery and hope the attackers are punished to the fullest extent of the law. However, it appears that your post is misleading, as is often the case with your discussions since it's not only "liberal left wing sites" saying it can't be proven it was a politically motivated attack. I'd say the vast majority of attacks against people of either party or ideology in any city aren't politically motivated, in fact have nothing whatsoever to do with politics. This didn't happen at a rally or a protest or any other political event, it happened outside a restaurant following a fund raiser.

As I said, no matter who did it or why they did it, shame of them.
