Are you a participator or a thread starter?  

As time as gone on I think I am more comfortable starting discussions. I'm not very good at starting a conversation at the best of times so i tend to ask for help or advice when I need it (like yesterday for example).

if me, prefer simply to be the respondent, rather than be the maker new topic discussion.

I was difficult to get new ideas topics of discussion, and I also had some bad experiences on my topics discussion, starting from considered as perpetrator of plagiarism, violates the rules of discussion topics until my topic discussion that was similar to has existing discussion

I'm definitely a participator. It's too hard for me to come up with ideas for discussions. Sometimes I will get ideas, but I have a habit of not writing them down so they are usually forgotten shortly after thinking of them lol. I'm glad you like responding to others discussions to help them feel welcome here. That is something that will help a lot of people I'm sure.

Hello albertwhisker, honestly i think i am in the middle i do a bit of both, i start discussions and i respond to peoples discussions, i dont think that i could do just one thing or another it would become to tedious and boring just doing one thing.

I think I'm a bit of a mix. I do start discussions but I dont make a point of sitting there thinking up topics. If something occurs to me, I'll start a thread but, if it doesn't - well, I'll just flick through and see if anything grabs my attention to respond to.

well i like to start my own discussions and respond the the people but then again sometimes i got nothing to start a discussion about but after answering a few discussion an idea pops up in my brain and BAM something i call my "money making post " xD

I suppose starting a conversation or topic is great. By starting a discussion or a topic, we can solicit insights of others that can make us gain certain learnings or ideas that we think never existed. On the other hand, joing or participating in a discussion is also useful in as much as these gives us opportunities to explore and think outside of the box. While it is true that I am a leader, I think it is also nice to be a follower once in a while to make us more effective and learning by means of our own experiences.

I'm twice, I'm proud of it LOL! No, I prefer respond that create a new thread because it's more interesting to help others and your number of posts is growing up fast! But when I've a question I directly post a new thread...

I am more of a participator. I just start a thread when i feel like it and i don't start one just because i have too.

Sometimes i am just laying down and suddenly i feel like i should talk about something that i feel intensely affecting me.

I want a catchy headline for my threads,and i want them to be more funny than serious.Although i tend to pour out my depression here sometimes, and that is when i get to post a real interesting discussion.
