What do you prefer to read or watch in the News category?  

When I watch the television, I have only a few channels that suits my taste. I want to watch sports like basketball, volleyball or billiards. I also watch the news, local and international. In the newspaper, I do read the headlines and see if something will interest me. Then on to the business section. After that, I read the sports pages because I am so much interested with sports.

Hi there vajradev... I usually read the news on the net..so I can chose what to see...like you I do not like to see murders and the like it is disturbing and I can't do any thing about it! it frustrates me! so I avoid them... but yes I still like to keep up with what is going on in the world!

I also like the sports section so usually when I touch a newspaper I read the back part first (where the sports section of my favorite newspaper is located) then backward (until I reach the Front Page). It is because after sports I like to see some fun in fun page then on the middle section where showbiz or entertainment page is located.

I look at the latest terror attacks, the place,time and intensity. I also look at rapes and other crimes against women. i look at IPL scams and the million people who are being fooled by the organizers. What else is there to read in the news papers these days? Not one news item is fair and true and everything is adulterated to suit someone's interest. Take sports there is fixing, take politics there is corruption, take the world at large there is the terror issues. i wonder who will bring out a newspaper with fun and humour. Its time for us all to laugh to ease tensions of these daily life

the front page, then i would go to the sports section and the section on tips/life and the like. i try not to miss the editorial/forum page. this is where serious reading takes place. and i normally do it when i'm not in a hurry and not in the midst of doing something.

I like to read the local and state news, national and international news in that order. Then I'm most interested in the obituaries, editorial and opinions pages. Sometimes I read the sports page, but not all the time. I don't read the comics anymore...I should to keep a sense of humor .

I read the headlines of all pages and I read the matter which is current and is of use for knowledge sharing.I do not read sports pages at all.Happy myLotting.

Hi vajradev, when I watch news in television, I watch all the features; like entertainment, politics, headlines, sports and health features; this about for an hour. I don't discriminate because I believe I have to know what was going on with my surroundings, the environment,people in other places etc. It's very informative to bombard yourself with current events.

I like the part of international news as they are not easy to be known

I think it is on CNN they have a odd, weird and strange stories category. Some interest discussions have come out of there! I need to get back there too. Haven't been over there for a while. I have news most of the time. Accidents and perverts all over the news now days. Ugh!
