What most are missing as to whether or not 0bama was born in Hawaii is that it does not matter in regards to 0bama's American citizenship. This is because Barack's father was not married to Barack's mother. Yes, they had a wedding, but Barack's father was legally married to another women back in Kenya. This means 0bama's mother was legally single at the time of Barack's birth. Any single American woman (even in 1961) can have a child anywhere in the world and that child is an American.

No, I do not support 0bama. I think he is a terrible President, but the law is the law and must be enforced fairly for all.

Birth Abroad Out-of-Wedlock to a U.S. Citizen Mother: A child born abroad out-of-wedlock to a U.S. citizen mother may acquire U.S. citizenship under Section 301(g) INA, as made applicable by Section 309(c) INA if the mother was a U.S. citizen at the time of the child's birth, and if the mother had previously been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year.

I was married to a German citizen, I was British and my daughter was born in France we had to register her with the German Embassy right away as my husband wanted her to be a German citizen. So that makes me wonder if Obama's mother had to register him with the American Embassy?

The only reason they didn't like Thomas was because of his (gasp!) conservative values. They were afraid he was going to try to overturn their abortion ruling.
