Should MUMBAI INDIANS Experiment For The Last Match Against KKR?  

Mumbai Indians play their last game against Kolkatta Night Riders on 19th April. Infact this is going to be the last game of the round robin group matches of IPL3 before the semi-finals begin!!
So, what should MI do for this match? Should they experiment or not? That is the big question. If they experiment then there is fear of losing the winning momentum. If they do not rest their key players then there are chances that they may be jaded and not be fresh for the sterner tests ahead!!
I feel MI should take their chance and rest a few key players to keep them fresh and fit for the knock-out stages. However, by making the changes I do not feel that MI will do any harm to themselves and will still be able to maintain their winning momentum.
Zaheer Zhan and Harbhajan Singh are not only key members of MI team but also team India for whom they will be playing in the T20 World Cup in a few weeks from now. So resting both of them is a must. They could be replaced by Dhaval Kulkarni and Ali Murtuza respectively.
Lasith Malinga could be brought back to get his rythm back. he can come in place of Dilhara Fernando. This will also keep the sting in the MI bowling attack intact!
Other replacements that could be carried out but not so necessary could be to bring in Graham Napier in place of Ryan Mclaren and Shikhar Dhavan in place of Saurabh Tiwary. Shikhar, after having been left out for the last few games must have learnt from his mistakes and could be the ideal foil to open with Sachin Tendulkar in the knock out matches!! Resting McLaren would be unfair as he is developing into a very good bowling all-rounder for MI but then the skills of Graham Napier could come into display. And who knows Napier ould turn out to be the dark horse to perform for MI in the semi-finals as he has been an unknown commodity so far since no opposition must have worked strategies bowling against him nor playing his bowling!!!.... Only the MI team management must be knowing more about him, we hardly know about his capacities except for some of his records!!!

03. Ambati Rayudu
04. JP Duminy
05. Abhishek Nayar
06. Aditya Tare (WK)
07. Kieron Pollard
08. Graham Napier...................replacing Ryan McLaren
09. Ali Murtuza.....................replacing Harbhajan Singh
10. Dhaval Kulkarni.................replacing Zaheer Khan
11. Lasith Malinga..................replacing Dilhara Fernando

The bowling seems to be a bit weakened with three front-liners Malinga, Kulkarni & Murtuza supported by part-timers Napier, Pollard, Duminy and Nayar. Definitely the MI team management must be scratching their head in choosing the final eleven for this last (inconsequential from MI team point of view) round robin match tomorrow!!!
