Can God Actually Destroy What He Created?

There is an opposition for everything in the world. A magnet has a north Pole and a South Pole which are inseparable even if one pole wants to destroy another. There is an equal and opposite reaction for every action. Another example, the same table had Jesus Christ and Judas dining on it. So, if there is a powerful strength called God, there must an equally powerful but opposite Satan.
To your argument whether Satan is an instrument of God, I would say yes and no. Satan exists with the same rights as God does.

It is a mystery no one can fathom it. What we assume is that God has given full freedom to man and angels and Satan too before their fall - the freedom to choose- what is Good that stands for God and what is bad that stands for Satan.
In the beginning there were angels and Lucifer rebelled against God - that is what the tradition speaks of the fall of Angels. God created angels and man to his likeness and image and therefore the angels and men possess the power. But when they use it opposite to God then bear the consequence.

Satan will live until the end of the day, to tempted us(human) to join with them in the Hell.So don't ever believe with their temptation, which always the pleasure of life.

He already did..once..the Great Flood- He didn't get rid of satan because there has to be a balance on earth- good and evil..

God allows Satan simply because God wants us to have free will to choose either God or Satan.

Free will in a thing is most important.

Who wants to love a God that gives you no choice?

Yes.... if we go by the bible HE destroyed everything (mostly) in the flood, right?

Satan.... If everyone and thing is under God then you would think so. I look at it like this.... in order to Love the gift on your birthday you can't be getting a gift everyday. The cake taste better if it's been a while since you had any of it. We look at the guy who killed his kid and we hug ours tighter. We lose our son to a drunk driver and never drink again.

There has to be bad to be good, you have to see and know both for the Good to hold the power. Do you know what I mean?

So for God to have and keep power in folk's minds (him being real or not)we have to hurt and be tempted away by the bad things or Satan.

Just my take on it.

Satan are fallen angels and God allow them to roam freely on earth to tempt and wreak the worse possible for mankind to repent and accept Jesus as savior. Those who accept Jesus will be saved from such wrath, including the eventual eternal punishment waged by God against satan.

- This is what I've been taught, yes.

- To be more elaborate, God is all-powerful and the Creator, and if He so wishes, He can destroy what He's created for whatever specific reason. However, He has granted humans the capacity for free will, something that allows us to have the most freedom among everything else that has been created. But it will be a little useless if there's only one side of the spectrum that we can choose. If all is good in the world, then there's only one choice we can pick and that kind of renders having the capacity to CHOOSE useless.

- In my religion, there is no power that can rival the Creator's. No fallen angel, no matter the position in an opposing faction, is God's equal and it doesn't matter how many humans are successfully seduced to sin against themselves and each other. In the end, the judgment falls, not on the humans, or the angels, or Satan and his demons: the judgment is delivered with the will of God. Satan actually helps God's cause because Satan helps in separating the good from the bad. So, yep. Totally an instrument.
