your theory does have logic behind it.I do know we are still
learning so much about our world that mother nature already
seems to know, Something was certainly at work to make the
Iceland volcano erupt so violenty that it sent out that huge'black cloud of ash shutting off the sunlight.

Mother nature? How about father nature? I believe that things happen for a purpose and it reminds us that we don't have a total control of what will happen tomorrow, but there's someone who is in total control of this universe that he created. God is in control of this world and God allows things like this to happen for His own purpose. I believe that somewhere, somehow, there's someone whose life has been transformed because of what happened. Good day sir.

Yep, the more that we humans mess with the earth, then the more that nature will show us who is boss. We (scientists) think that we now how the planet works, but I am 100% positive that we have only just scratched the surface when it comes to understanding all there is to know about nature.

Your theory makes sense in theory, but I am not really sure if the sun does get down that far to heat the water as I know that light does not reach many parts of the underwater world. Also cloud cover keeps the heat in at night. On clear nights it is a lot cooler than when it is cloudy.

Very interesing idea. I don't know what impact the increased oceans temps has on the actual core since there is the mantle between them. I think we have alot left to learn about our beloved planet Earth. After all there are still many areas that have never been fully explored, incluing our vast vast ocean. I'll never forget the show that has the video of the ocean within the ocean where there was an incredibly dense section that appeared black on the ocean floor but it had it's own wave structure. That was amazing!
And the volcanic ash will cool the Earth and that in turn will impact the foliage which will impact the oxygen levels and the Co2 levels will climb which heats the Earth even more etc. So much left to learn really!

If you have studied Geology or at least read something of it then you would know that our Earth is a living planet. The Earth`s core consists of boiling magma with temperature upto thousands of degrees. the earths continents are floating on this magma and whenever a rupture occurs this magma comes to the surface and is forced out at extremely high pressure and this we call as a volcanic eruption. Mother Nature does everything as is should but we human beings, the most intelligent species on earth are bent on destroying her by cutting and clearing huge swathes of pristine forests and disrupting plant and animal life. we clear land and build massive forests of building for our ever growing population and with it comes excessive discharge of greenhouse gases which causes all the problems which we are facing now.Yes our scientists are trying hard to control the forces of Nature in the best possible way but they are not focussing on the core issues that makes Mother Nature livid with her children and therefore we have to take the punishment that she delivers to us and face the consequences.

That is quite imaginative. I think it is rather odd that we think we are so technologically advanced, but are so backward in our other thinking. It is like the so-called science of medicine where now people are so specialized that they don't really see the larger picture. We often throw out the baby with the bath water.

i love your theory man.. well, the sun could not make the whole ocean heat since half of it is in the night time while the other side of the globe is facing the sun.

That is a great comparison and I don't think that I would have ever thought of something like that myself. However, I think that you might be right on track. It only makes sense that when the sun is hot it is going to heat everything up and with the amount of water that is on this earth, then it will be able to go down and heat the core of the earth. Just like when we take a pot of water off the stove, the temperature will go down so will the volcanic ash block some of the sun's heat and allow the earth to cool down. Beautifully written.

to me the boiling for the valcanos come from deep in the earth tho the ash covers the sun for the water to cool down on this one its not the same with the ones on land like St Helen when she blew in the 80s
