An appeal to save mother earth  

The damage has been done already and we are now suffering nature's wrath because of our negligence and abuse. Floods and too much rainfall (or lack of it) are causes of the depletion of nature. It seems that we're in a hopeless case already but if we'll just start to take some positive action in restoring nature, then we'd be in the right path to save lives (including our very own) and make the world into a better place once again.

I'm sure that we all have a lot of different and bright ideas on how to save nature. Even the simplest of things such as segregating the garbage or throwing trash in the trash cans can help a lot already. Let's not let such ideas stay in our minds and we all should put them into actions.

I am appealing to all to take some positive action in saving and restoring mother nature. On my part, I am planning to plant at least a tree every six months or every quarter. That's about 2 or 4 trees in a year and that is a good number. Imagine if (here in the Philippines) about half of the people do that, that would be a lot of trees and we could once again cover the depleting mountains and prevent landslides and flush floods from happening. Prevention is always better than cure.

Restoring nature doesn't only prevent floods and landslides but it also has a lot of other benefits. Putting all the benefits of restoring nature here would take so long. The bottomline is that we all should repair mother nature for us to live a lot healthier and better life.

I really do hope that people will join me for this cause. Do whatever you can to help mother nature and better yet, get other people involved too. Let's spread the word.
