Should I go to the police station to put in a report?  

That is just awful. I'd say make a report, if you don't think it will cause your daughter more trouble. I don't think having it on record is a bad thing. Just be careful. These days anything can happen, and does.

What a difficult decission you have as it sounds like a nightmare place to live but you have to do whatever you feel comfortable doing and if it gives you piece of mind that you have told the police then do so however the trouble with these days are how serious do the police take stuff? and will it make things alot worse for you if you say something? if the answer is yes then maybe it is better to leave it as the police can only protect you and your family so much and how much harm could come to you is a important question.

That's a tough situation. If everyone knows everyone, and they found out you put in a police report, you could face repercussions.

Example, my older sister was being abused by her boyfriend for 14 years. Every time she filed a police report and tried to leave, he'd find her and beat her for it. Until finally the police provided the proper protection and helped her go somewhere safe.

The sad thing is that sometimes the police can't or won't help. Personally, I'd file a report. Just so it's on record. In case anything worse happens, you can say you reported it once. Because usually the cops ask "well why didn't you say anything before now?" Besides, sitting there hiding pretending nothing happened won't help as these don't sound like nice guys.

Maybe see if there's anything the police can do for your daughter. Can they protect her? Can they make sure she's anonymous in the report? Ect.

I would highly recommend you call the police on this one. You should have to live in fear that something might happen. This kind of things shouldnt happen but sadly it does. I would get it into writing so if something does happen they dont pin it on you or your daughter.

If threats were made and warnings were issued then I would go forward to report since this act of violence is the making. Cover yourself at all times. If you are in real danger express that and see what alternative they have for you. If I remember right, you r daughter is pregnant right? That right there, would mean she is off limits or the punishment for the crime will be double. But what ever the case may be you need to protect yourself and your child. Good luck.

Since your daughter was activly fighting, despite weather or not she was in the right, she would probably be the one in trouble. You are more then welcome to seak legal advice, but understand your daughter could be arrested, or a person of interested while all of this is streightened out.

For me ye you need to said the police about the happening.

Go ahead and report the whole incident to the cops. Don't leave anything out if something happens then there is a record of your daughter having issues with this boy. If there is a next time maybe just walking away instead of calling him names would cause less friction.
