What would you do if your mom decided to dress like Lady Gaga?  

I still remember I use to have a classmate and her mom dresses too sexy while she doesn't have the body. Its really painful in the eyes.

You are right, we may admire people to have the nerve to dress that way they wanted to be. Are you fine dressing the same way with her while hanging out in the streets?

No, I wouldn't dress the same way...I'm happy to be considered weird but I know my limits! people would run screaming back to their houses

Yes, I just mess around with it... I cut bits, bleach bits to intensify the colours I use and then slap the colours on with cheap toothbrushes. Thing is, I've been doing this for over 4 years so I reckon I started the trend. During the very last conversation I ever had with my brother, I said I thought I'd just cut my hair and put random colours in it. His response was "Go for it." - so, after a bit, I did - and still do. I dont think people would recognise me with 'hair-coloured' hair anymore. Someone senior at work said we were supposed to have "natural" coloured hair. Heck, I could see her grey roots so said I thought there were very few people there who DID. She asked how many people I knew that had been born with purple hair. I said " Lots.....in MY world". She gave up

Well, it was brunette but with my advancing years (sigh)there's a fair bit of grey in there now. My mum's hair is pure white so, if mine goes that way, I'll probably cut it shorter...and then dye it all purple!!!

Yes I am an aspiring musician and it's unfortunate for me to have to see people getting famous exploiting music as a way to make their money. A lot of mainstream artists aren't really even being that creative with the music they are writing or the lyrics they are saying and a lot of them aren't the most intelligent ones out there.

Thats why I love underground Music and eastern European Music because they can try to be original.

Even better is that they don't have to try to be original because they haven't been listening to the same stereotypical 4/4 music that Americans here on the radio every day. Underground music is definitely a pretty mystical place worth exploring

In Norway, you wont be able to sell albums if you can play instruments and you cant write their own songs. The music there is really awesome. They dont need to rely on high notes just to prove they can sing.

I can understand if you dont want to be in public with her, My parents dont want to be in Public with me because I have tattoos. Throwing her lady Gaga clothes might hurt her feelings though.

Exactly! My Mom has been supportive of me my entire life and even when I went through my crazy years, with the tattoos and piercings, she still stood proudly beside me and dared anybody to say anything bad about me. I'd do the same for her in a heartbeat.

My mom is a bible thumping old fashioned nagging machine, She is not supportive of me at all.

It's funny that you should mention that...my Mom used to be a bible thumper too, but she saw the error of her ways and reformed herself...lol Now she does what she wants and doesn't really give a damn what anybody says!
