do you walk home late at night on you own  

I think there are alot of people that do not like walking home from somewhere as they are scared that people will follow them home.I think that it is alot safer to either get someone to walk you home or to carry a phone on you as that way if there is a person following you then you can ring someone for help.

It depends.. There are times that I prefer walking on my way home when the nightsky is beautiful.. :) And when its not super late.. :)

there was a time when i broke up with my girlfriend and I was living in this foreign country that i start to do that... actually do jogging at night, really late like 2 or 3 a.m. was kind of relaxing with the cold weather of germany

me..I such a paranoid person when walking alone..especially when it's too late at night..cause there are many bad people now lurking at the streets..well..I still got no choice but to be cautious and alert..however I still enjoy walking under the starry night sky..it's very relaxing for the mind and body.. :))

i've always walked around at night,it does'nt bother me,i'm not scared at all,the way i see it is if i was going to get attacked then i would,it wouldn't make any difference what time of day it was

I only would if I had to , otherwise no.

There are too many crazy people out there to take that kind of a risk. Yes , I would worry about being followed or in my case even an animal attack.

I don't walk home late on my own. One does worry about being followed day or night when alone however by me I can't walk home from work. I don't get out till close to 11pm, and where I live there are no side walks and the lighting isn't the very best. And on a side note when it comes to being a female you have to error on the side of caution.

It depends on ow familiar I am with the place. But yes, I am the type of person who gets worried when I feel like somebody is following me. But what I tend to do is that I change my direction and if the person is still following me I will stop in a nearby store or wherever there are people and there is light and from there I will call my parents or my friends to fetch me.

I have been followed a few times by men either walking or in cars, so I don't like to walk anywhere on my own after dark. If I go more than a 10 minute walk from my house and I'll be coming home late, I book a taxi, or get friends (preferably 6ft plus, muscular male friends! lol) to walk me home. I'm not usually out late though because I prefer to be at home with my kids even when they are sleeping.
