do you like pictures or photos on your wall in your home  

Why dont you ask a friend to put them up for you as that way they will get done.Why dont you drop him a hint by getting him the hammer and some picture hooks out aswell as the pictures that you want up on your wall as that way you have more of a chance of putting them up.I do find that having pictures up it takes that boring look of the wall away.

Any work to be completed in a house requires a good cooperation from both of you. Your discussion makes me feel that your husband does not like pictures to be placed on the walls -hence he is delaying. Any how he shall surely spare some time in connection with hanging the pictures at the earliest is my hope.
By the way I ;like pictures on the walls as these are cheaper and can select according to our choice and Photographs are very very costly.

We've been in our house for a year, but I've yet to get a single picture up on the wall. This isn't to say that I don't want to, I've got some very nice picture frames with pictures of the children and also pictures of us that I want to get up on the walls in our living room and also in the staircase to the upstairs of our house. I'm actually looking quite forward to getting it done, but with still constantly arranging things just so, I simply haven't gotten to it yet.

That husband of yours is a proscrastinator like so many of us, lol. I think the best thing would be to ask someone to help you to put it up or when someone comes to your homes especially a guy you "ambush" them and ask them to help you put up the pictures and they will most likely say sure, i will do it for you. Your problem would be solved.

I love to see different pictures on my walls,why not this is in fact a way to recall something and memories are so sweet.The most interesting thing for me when I go to some of my friends' house I firstly look at the pictures in order to see something unknown or forgotten.

I do have some pictures in my house. But all of them were left by my landlord. I guess being in college they figured we dont have much money or care about the decorating. Could you ask someone else to put them up?. I know my Dads the same way so my brother or uncl does it on occassion. Im sure if they put the nail or hook up then you could put the actual picture up. Also, then you can change it up or put new pictures up.

I like having pictures on the wall too. I just hate how much frames cost I keep forgetting to buy more and then like you wait forever to get hubby to put them up or atleast come to an agreement on placement.

I absolutely love having pictures and photos hanging on the wall of my home. They add personality to it and allow me to showcase what I consider to be important (ie. family and friends), and what I consider to be attractive and exceptional pieces of artwork (Salvadore Dali prints, for example.)

My hallway is a pictorial sampling of my family tree and history; the wall of my living room is set aside for my wonderful friends; and the wall of my study highlights my education (certificates and diplomas, etc.), as well as showcasing the wonderful artwork of my gorgeous niece and nephew.

Hanging pictures and photos is not necessarily about adding a bit of colour, or brightening up a dull room. It's about offering a part of you and your life to your guest/s.

I'll find it out if I would like it if I get to build my own house already. I have always dreamed of a house full of one-man portraits. Even if it's from random strangers.
