Ouija boards sold as "toys" what a great idea?  

I don't really like Ouija boards, I had friends in high school who played with it and were a bit obsessed with it and told me they were seeing things
Well in your case the board was wrong after all, you guys would never get married.

You know Elic I think most young childern that play with this do not really believ in it and they are moving it around to spell what they want it too. Many many years ago I had a friend that had one and we would use it but we knew each of us was moving the pointer!

I guess it depends, I am the assistance of a paranormal investigator and according to him certain people attract ghosts/spirits and others don't is up to you whether you want to believe in it or not. LOL did you get any answers through the glass? when I was a teen we used to grabbed color pencils and made a rectangular shape and two people would hold 3 of the color pencils and the other one would hold the other 3 color pencils and ask questions to a witch named Allicia

The ouija boards around 1850 where used for spiritisme, and they were rectangular with a pencil, so you were using a true ouija board : maybe Alicia was a true witch ?
The glass gave various answers, depending of who was moving it .
I lived three years in a haunted house, and the sounds I heard there were real. An interesting house for your paranormal investigator. I believe in ghosts, but not in spiritisme.

Nothing happened it was the same thing as the glass I can be the one manipulating the pencils or my friend could be the one pretty silly I guess.The last time I heard sounds and voices was about 4 years ago at my mother's house. About Allicia lol. If you wanted to play and be safe we were told to wear black pajamas, your top and pants both had to be black or Allicia would come and get you Those were the fun days.

Fortunately the glass never told me to wear a pink pajama ! Yes, it was fun, and I think that every teen plays at this sort of game. If you don't buy them an ouija board, they create their own.

and they end up summoning Belial or Lilith having them possessed and suffer from some demonic possession and despite of having a real possession doctors will mistake them to some crazy person and lock them in a mental hospital.

Oh yes Albert there are some doctors who think that diabolic possessions are not real; either the person is crazy or has seizures that's what happened to Emily Rose.

I believe in the spiritual world as well and there are somethings better left alone. I did know that Walmart refuse to carry them but according to the article I read Toys R us are selling them, well I am not sure if that's true or not.
I was shocked seeing a bunch of 8 year olds playing with it. I wouldn't let my kids play with it either.

Wow coins? that's interesting. I used to play with my classmates; we would grabbed color pencils and made a rectangular shape. I don't really like the idea of seeing 8 year olds playing with a Ouija board I would never buy one after the experience with the pencils.

The coins do move, And the prayer you need just to get spirits were some CVatholic prayers like "Our father" and 'Hail Mary" Then the coins started to have life on its own. It says to work well with the candle light.

so the coins move on the board and spell out the letters for you or I got it wrong?

On a piece of paper, you will write the alphabet, numbers from 0 to nine and Yes or no. Each number and letter will be written inside a circle the shape of the coin. so its like an home made ouija board.

with the color pencils there's no letters or anything, you just hold them; in a triangular shape if they open it means yes if they close means no, read what toffer and I were talking about you'll laugh.

actually it doesn't have a name, well not that I know of remember, nothing happened and I am glad it didn't but some of my friends said that they saw and heard things because of it.

There are somethings that are so hard to explain and people find it difficult to believe in them whether the Ouija board had something to do with what happened to you guys or not I can assure that it was something from beyond this world. I hope you guys are ok

I don't think she knew what it was either. We bought it because we played a lot of board games as kids. The Ouija board was not one of favorites though. so we did not play with it often.
My ex's daughter wanted one when she was about 10. I refused to let her have one though because by then I knew the history of them!

It was not a favorite game of mine either. I heard a lot of scary stories from my granny and my brother, I played a similar game to the Ouija but nothing happened, better to leave it at that. I would never allow my child to play with one. I glad you didn't let your ex's daughter have one, kids don't really need this type of toys.

I agree you have no idea how I felt when I saw the kids playing with the Ouija board and I am just shocked to find out that you can get it at toys r us I knew that you can get pretty much everywhere online. This is something that should even be around but even if it is banned from selling kids can make one.

I think so too. At some point in our lives we would start to question things about life therefore we get curious and we want to know more. Some people in their lives would never experience any paranormal activity and some will. I guess this game is what you make. Some believe is not evil and some do.

Sure it isn't a toy but for those who are non believers of the devil or spirits think it is and they would by their kids one; the Ouija board. I don't think that it is a toy either and that is something that you don't mess with. I am huge believer of the paranormal phenomenal and there's no way I would let my kids play with one. Stores have them on sale and this not something new
I am glad you never participated in such activities. My brother's friend used to played a lot with one and after 3 months he started seeing things and hearing noices and he committed suicide wheter it was the Ouija or not, I say just leave it at that. Some reasons shouldn't be understood they might just turn your blood cold.

Agree I mean some people can attract spirits and they don't even know it and if you play with the board who knows what would happen next. Unfortunately stores don't see the big deal in it and they will sell the witch boards
