If we drink clear water, why is our pee yellow?  

nice :) when we pee we don't ejects only excess of water, but other waste products, like ammonia or vitamin b12, the main responsible of the yellow colour of pee :)

First of all, urine isn't just water but waste materials and sometimes excess products. It is produced by the kidneys which filter the blood. The science of testing urine is very complicated and I cannot give a full account here. Suffice to say that doctors routinely order urine tests as an aid to diagnosis. The color of urine does give some important clues to the doctor.
From your own point of view, a dark yellow color probably means that you aren't drinking enough water, although morning urine is normally darker than that produced later in the day.
Bright fluorescent yellow-green urine is the result of taking multi-vitamin and mineral tablets. Some herbal medicines from Asia can even produce blue urine.
You shouldn't worry too much about the color as a yellow tint is quite normal.

I think that if we drink plenty of water, we have clear urine. There is a processing going on when we drink water. Those minerals found in water is utilized by the body and those excess are excreted through urine. The yellowish color may be a sign that these are already waste products coming from our body. I don't have a medical and scientific answer but it would be good to research.

We pee yellow because our pee contains various chemical compounds.It also contains a compound named ''UROCHROME''. It's colour is like straw.So our pee is yellow.

I am not sure why it turns yellowish... but I do no that the lighter it is the better hydrated you are...

Your blood goes through the kidneys and the kidneys clean the impurities and toxin out of the blood. when you don't drink enough water the toxins and impurities are more concentrated. Your urine should be almost clean. When the urine is yellow it is a sign your not getting enough water.

the pee will come yellow it may be many reasons you doesn't have more drink water that day and you stressed very much.Finally i can said one thing may be our health is not good pee shows yellow. most of the day the pee come yellow color it may be Di-abates (sugar)

Because some of the food we eat contain fluids, and also end up in our pee. Our pee consists of not only water, but also other waste fluids from our body. So if you drink lots of water, there will still be a hint of yellow in your urine because it contains some other fluids from the food that you had eaten. Sometimes when I don't eat and just drink water, my pee is almost completely clear. So, yeah.

If you clean your dirty shoes, the clear water you used would not be the clear water anymore after the wash. It has cleaned the grimes and the dirt on the shoes, wouldn't it? I would like to think of it as the same concept of cleaning our dirty stuff. I love the fact that it has washed away the wastes we have in our body.

it's because it includes the waste product that our body produces... ^_^
