Gosh, you have lived throught hsoe times... Must have been terrifying, right? Wish I could interview you personally... I want to know so many things about the people who lived through those times.. The experience must have been terrifying- like the one you related over here...

He was sentenced for life and it was advised that he should spend at least 30 years in jail... You know what in 2011 he is completing 30 years... I wonder, if they are going to release him... Also, some people say that he wasn't alone committing crime. There was some other guy too, with strong 'Garudie' accent, who sent a audio tape to the police (to mock them, maybe!) and a few letters too. Sutcliffe denied about those and said that he didn't know anything about it. So is the mystery yet to be solved fully? What do you think? I am sure you can throw some light upon it... Please share... Thank you...

Hi mr_pearl I have to admit I didn't think about it much. Too busy being an undergraduate and mum to a 3 year old, not to mention being married! I think you mean a geordie accent (which is north east England) he has been ruled out by our police he was a fraud. We don't jail for life in this country (for about 30 years which is almost life) nor do we have the death penalty (most of us hate that idea), so Sutcliffe is due out next year under licence and supervision. Gaol also is quite good at re-training people, so I'm not really worried. The other big scandal here was the Myra Hindley scandal - not far from where I lived in Saddleworth. They are in prison and due out soon too, but ... Our police and the probation service have their weaknesses but they are firmly under our control. They have to meet with the public regularly and are controlled by a locally elected police authority.

Okay... I guess, the people are no more afraid of Sutcliffe now.. I hope that is true too.. Moreover, he has undergone so many attacks in jail that I think he must softened a little, after so many years...

I have read the 'Moore Murderers' case... The Brady and Hindley- couple! They were the most sadist ever.. The entire account of their methods is very horrifying... They are dead, I think... I read before some months that Brady became an insane and Hindley died in 2002 or 2003... Don't know exactly... But yes, if they are (or even if one of them) is still alive, then they should not be released for any reason... That is how I feel!!!

I would have been scared if I was you too. I would not have taken any chances with getting in my car, not knowing what may be inside of my car. Knowing me, I would make sure that I have someone escort me to my car. I will also have them look around in my car to make sure that no one is inside of my car. To have to live through this experience is very scary.

Hi Cream... Yes, it is really sad to know that such people are there and they do such horrible things... The killer, Sutcliffe, is still alive and serving his sentence... As there is no death penalty in that country, he might be released from jail in 2011... Wonder, if they'll really release him or will extend his penalty...
