Yes, she has stroke related dementia - it means that she can still remember us, at least better than some kinds of dementia

Also makes her physically quite debilitated.

Will try to get a photo of it and reduce it to put it up here see if anyone can identify it. Yes my Mother passed away nine years ago almost now it still seems like a few years ago sometimes. That´s okay she is fine where she is I can´t see her but I know she is fine. Oh so that is eight days from now near enough to ours too.

HI pergammano. The loss of one's mother is never easy to handle. I dread to think about it even for a split of a second that there will be a time when I won't see my mother again. We had our misunderstandings in the past but she was always there for me to help me in times of need.Unfortunately its they circle of life. We cannot avoid death. I hope that you can cherish the beautiful moments that you had together in your memory, funny incidents or jokes that she used to do or narrate. Take care.

I surely wish I could take my Mother out to eat at the very least too Ronald..she is very far away from me and of course money is always an issue.

Before when I was near her, I could afford to do more, had a good job and home too.

HI OceanTiara, I do think that love and respect cannot be bought with money. So even if you dont have a single dime, your mum would still be proud of you. You can still make her day by giving her a call or do something that shows her that she is in your mind.
