Do You Like To Make Your Own CDs?  

I make my own cd's every chance I get. I have always been one to make my own CD's I agree with you as far as putting them in your own order and choosing what songs to put on. I also enjoy listening to the songs as I put together the CD. I hate how fast the CD's that I make are ruined. Your so right about the store bought ones lasting longer. I dont think we have a place to go and burn your own CD's like that but if we did I probably wouldnt go there as its much more fun to do it at home. I like to make CD's for special people in my life as well. I did one with a slide show of pics of me and my brothers growing up for my dad. I did it to music and he really enjoyed it. Thought it was the best gift ever. For me music has always been a way to relate to things. When I am sad there is a song for that and when I am happy there is a song for that too. Every emotion has a song I say. So not only do I love to burn my own cd's I use music to make me feel better. If I was to buy a bands whole CD it would have to be a great CD. Other wise Itunes is my best friend.

Well I enjoy both making my own cd's and band cd's, because it can be special to acquire a very good band cd. Especially if they have a nice cover, inlay and if the album is awesome overall I'd rather have the band cd. The problem is that I often like a few songs of an album and then I would rather burn my own cd's and mix up my favourite songs.

I rarely make my own cd's for music. I tend to buy music files online nowadays. I mostly make cd's for one of my old video game systems.

I like to put emulated games, and homebrew programs on them.

I used to do this a lot, i now usually put them on my ipod after a mp3 download, i created front covers and everything! That was fun...

i used to burn cds too. that way i can just put the songs that i like there. but i don't make them anymore since i barely use cds these days. i just store my music in my ipod :)

yes sometimes i make my own cd's.. it costs alot less money than having to buy the origional cd's that i want. i mostly get all of my music from torrent sites so i dont have to pay anything for the music or anything else that i download.. so its all free except for the blank disks which are only afew dollars..

Personally this is something that I have never really considered trying. I know there are times I would Love to do this, especially when there might be only one or two songs of someone you really enjoy, but could not see yourself wasting the money for the whole CD. But in reality since I tried to do something like this once before, I will leave it for someone more experienced.
