| |  don't really know how a film can achive a cult status but i think is that they lost in the box office(most common in cult status films) but many people think its great. And it is still talked about even after 5 years the film has been shown.

| | I'm not really sure there is a secret ingredient to "cult status". Often it's the quirky movies that didn't get much attention during their release, but then picked up viewers and followers as the years went on.

| |  I think for a film to reach "cult status" ithas to appeal artistically and thematically to a certain scene (type/group of people).
I love Pulp Fiction and Fght Club- and my friends that are similar to me in interests and opinions also love that movie. Little Shop of Horrors and The Big Lebowski are also example of cult classics, but I'm not really that into those ones.
