Parent - Teacher's meetings on Skype  

I have never used Skype, so I do not know. I would speculate that it would be better than a phone conference, just because you can see body language, and examples of work, etc.

I think that is a Great idea. Saves money and saves time too.

Have you suggested it to the school? What do they think of it? Let me know if you have any success in it.

Fortunately, my daughter's pre-school is practically next door. So, it's not a problem. But when she's a bit older, she will have to go a bit of a distance as the schools nearby are not great. But I don't think they will do that in India, not right away.

I like how the schools in your country has progressed. I must admit that this is genuinely very resourceful and a very good idea. This is also what it means using full use of our available technological resources. I hope that it will not only be restricted to just parent-teacher meetings as I can see more potentials with other matters between student and teacher as well.

I see this as being eco-friendly where there will be less traveling about and less resource exploitations. Also, where you are from - safety, where it could be dangerous traveling about in some areas in your country. I wish that all schools would consider such a practice with more enhancement and usage.

Kudos your school for starting this.
