Phoenix takes a 3-0 series lead in Dragic's big night  |

|  The Phoenix Suns had a slow start at San Antonio in their game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs. The Suns, known for their high octane and high scoring game scored only 19 points after the first quarter and trailed by 9. The Suns caught up in the next 2 quarters and only trailed by 1 entering the fourth. Goran Dragic, scoreless in the first quarter, scored only three points in the third, and hit only 2 of his 12 shots in the first two games, led the 39-24 fourth quarter by the Suns to beat the Spurs 110-96 to take a 3-0 series lead. What's surprising is that the Suns didn't need much of Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, and Jason Richardson in the fourth quarter. Averaging only 2 points in the first two games of the series, Dragic scored 23 points in the fourth quarter and finished the game with 26. Dragic had some great moments in the game including the pivot in the paint against DeJuan Blair and Tim Duncan on different occasions and a big four point play. Nash was sent back in in the fourth quarter for only a few minutes while Stoudemire and Richardson sat on the bench for the last 12 minutes of the game. Richardson finished with 21 points for the Suns hitting 5 of 7 of his threes and continued his very impressive performance for the Suns. Grant Hill had 18 points and a great job of playing defense against Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker while Nash had 16. Leandro Barbosa, seemingly invisible for quite sometime, finished with 13 points off the bench including some big baskets in the fourth quarter. The Suns only got 7 points from Stoudemire who struggled against the Spurs interior defense. Stoudemire hit only 3 of his 10 fieldgoal attempts. Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 27 points but Tim Duncan and Tony Parker only combined for 25 points. Duncan grabbed game high 13 rebounds.
No team has ever bounced back from a 0-3 hole and win a series and momentum and history are all on the Suns side now. Going back to Phoenix 3-1 should be the Suns target but after a very convincing win, the Suns could close the Spurs out in game 4. If Phoenix's bench specifically Jared Dudley, Channing Frye, Dragic, and Barbosa would all come out big once again in game 4, Phoenix could put the series in the bag.
The Suns definitely exceeded my expectations and as a Suns fan, I'm just so happy today.

| |  It's good that the win of the Suns put a smile in your face. Truly, the Sun shines in San Antonio. They will be ending a long wait of finally winning against the Spurs who've beaten them a lot of times. As a San Antonio fan, I am saddened by the turn of events for the team. However, that is part of the game. Sometimes, we win, sometimes we lose. It may be a time for the Spurs to re-evaluate their line up and draft a player or sign a player who will be manning the paint while Tim Duncan will just come off the bench as a role player. It's time to move on and cheer for the Lakers or the Magic.

| | This is a very rare moment for us Suns fans. Going up 3-0 over the Spurs is really so sweet after losing 4 straight series to the Spurs. Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire might finally get their revenge against the Spurs while Grant Hill and Jason Richardson could finally make it to the conference finals. The Suns should not be complacent still though. Though no team has bounced back from a 0-3 hole, the Spurs is still a dangerous team and they might have making history in mind. | | | |

| |  Wow the Suns are HOT! History is really on their side now that they have a 3-0 advantage. I think I heard a commentator in a broadcast of a playoff game (not between Suns and Spurs) that he sees the great improvement of defense in the Suns team. He congratulates the coaching staff of paying attention to details. Since the Suns are very good offensively, the commentator said that some would not say that Suns is a defensive team but he can see the great improvement in defense the team has in this season.
Maybe we can see Suns again in the West Finals and maybe in an NBA Finals, that is if they beat Spurs (just one win away) and the winner of L.A. Lakers vs. Utah Jazz.

Finally the suns figured it out and now they are ready to beat the spurs, they already lost 4 playoff series against the spurs since nash came in and now they really improved and had better ball movement. Amare is now a beast! And I mean a big beast who controls the paint everytime, crashing boards and fighting for every possession. Now this series will be over because the lead is a commanding 3-0. It'll be very hard for the spurs to catch up because it is almost impossible, it will take a lot of energy to got tie the series up and worst, lose in game 7. Goodluck to Phoenix Suns I just wish they could beat the Lakers if they meet in the western conference finals.

| |  Dragic is one of a kind. He was with San Antonio but the Spurs did not give him a chance to fit in their lineup. He was headed to Phoenix and that is the defining factor for the Suns as Dragic broke the heart of the Spurs scoring 23 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, tying the Charles Barkley's score against the Spurs over the years. Also, it was the Suns' bench that made the turnaround in the 2nd half. Barbosa, Dudley and Frye came from the bench to make the big comeback in the 2nd half setting up to Dragic's heroics.
