He/she may have gotten the idea for massage chair rental from the airport. I've seen them in Osaka, Japan back in 2008. Of course, Japan uses vending machines a lot and massage chairs are no exception.

As for my business idea, I'm still polishing mine because it's a bit technical and complicated.

Something that you may check into is fish massage. I am sure there is a better name but I haven't had any coffee yet today. It is a tank of fish and you put your feet into it and they eat the dead skin off your feet and legs. I have seen about three now in Pattaya and they seem to be doing good. They charge about US$5 for about a 20 minute session. I have not tried it yet, but will do soon.

I can imagine the large amount of insurances, taxes and health codes you would have to go through in the States to set it up, so it may take a year or so to just break even, but over here they are doing well!

IS he the owner of the massage chair store?? IF not, it's gonna be illegal if his boss caught him.. haha =D plus, where do those 'earnings' go too?? lol =D

IF i were the consumer, i wont even be paying to rent, in order to get a free massgae.. INstead, i will pose as a potential customer, and be trying all the massgae chairs.. lol =D As such, i need not even need to pay, and yet i got the massage i wanted.. lol =D
