Romanized Punjabi:
Aval Allah nuur upaiya
kudrat key sab bandey;
Ek noor teh sab jag upjiyah
kaun Bhalle kaun Mandey.

Lougah Barm na bullai pai
Khaalak Khallak Khallak mein Kaalak,
Poorab rahiyoo sarab Thaayee.

Translation :
From essence made by God, men came via nature.
From this one essence all are made, so who is good and who is bad?

Bhagat Kabir was a saint from India. He was born to the Muslim faith, but his works are universally respected. His works are also in the Guru Granth Sahib (Page 1349) of the Sikhs and that is where this slok is taken from.
O People, Siblings of Destiny, do not wander deluded by doubt;
The creation is in the creator, the Creator in the creation, totally prevading and permeating all places.

You must be a huge fan of this Saint. I may not understand your religion or his teachings but all I know is that people, regardless of what they are or where they come from, should be respected and do good deeds for others for it will return to you a hundredfold.

I never heard of this man, and "the creation is in the creator, and the creator is in the creation," it's funny that he was born a moslem, as the words are not Islam teachings. What was his path of faith?

Some Muslims do not accept him as a Muslim due to what they term as his rejection of the perfection of Islam... There are many that follow him though.

He is a Sufi. He was born at a time where there was a Bakti movement then. Sikhism has roots deep in this movement, that is why you may find that his works are much closer to that of Sikhism rather than Islam.

He has a following of his own religion, the followers calling themselves Kabir Panthis.

A sufi, plus sikhism. I see. That's why I wondered if he was really a moslem.

And I also wonder how many others with the same teachings, that the Creator is in the creation, and the creation is in the Creator. Currently I study Judaism, and it's what the Judaism teaches, and it seems that there are many with the same teachings.

A nice surprise, I can say.happy

Like Christianity, Islam very much has its roots in Judaism. Just like Christianity, you got to study Judaism before you study Islam. The stories and all are the same. Some even call the Quran the Final Testament.

Sikhism, on the other hand, is very much a different entity. It has its roots very much in the Bakti movement as well as Sufi traditions along with unique teachings. There are elements influenced by Islam, as well as Hinduism.

No. Christianity roots in Judaism, but not Islam. Islam claims the prophets, but doesn't follow the teachings in both the old and new testaments. Therefore, it can't be said that Islam roots in Judaism.
I never read the Koran, but some verses that I read in books showed that it's entirely different. As the stories are alike (not the same), the philosophies are different. For an instance, Judaism believes that Satan is an angel of G-d, doing G-d's will, but Islam says that Satan opposes G-d, which is not taught in Judaism.

And if I'm not mistaken, in the Koran Allah said that the Torah (jewish bible, the old testament), and the gospels, all were canceled and replaced by the Koran. This means the removal of all the teachings, which is impossible, as G-d said in the bible that G-d's words "will last forever." Canceling it would only prove that G-d's words "will not last forever," and that G-d lied and was not trustworthy.

Dude, Islam definitely has roots there. This is coming from a person that is not a Christian, Jew or Muslim. They copied the same stories. Kane and Abel, Adam and Eve, Jesus, Joshua, Joseph, David, etc.... They do follow the teachings of the Jews; E.g. making meat Halal comes from Kosher in Judaism, Friday a day of prayer and Saturday a day to rest comes from Judaism, circumcision, washing the right hand before the left etc. So the Muslims basically copied the Jews in lots of their rites today; something many of them would not like to listen to.

As for the concept of Satan, I think that there are differences between the 3. In Judaism, Satan was an angel that God used to test (I can't remember if it was Jacob or Job) and Abraham. Satan is also equated to Baal. In Christianity and Islam, they talk of a war in heaven and the story of an angel of God rebelling. Christianity says that Satan is a serpent. In Islam, everything was blamed on Satan. Why Adam ate the apple? Satan. Why did Jesus did on the cross? Satan.

Lastly regarding the Koran, as I said, they believe that it is the final testament. They believe it is a finished product. Hence, to them why respect the other works when they think that those works are incomplete? To me, I think you are right. If they say that those words are the words of God, the earlier Testaments should be respected.

Dude? Ok, sweety. lol.

Islam CLAIMS that it's the final of the series, but yet it's only a claim that in many ways twist the original. The story of Abraham sacrificing his son, not only the names changed by Islam, but also how it happened. In the bible it's told that Abraham NEVER did slaughter the kid, but not in Islam. Islam says that Abraham did cut his son's throat, and he saw that it was a goat (or something). It's only one of the examples, and for this I don't think Islam roots in Judaism, for if it did, there should be no difference.

As for satan, it was Job. And Satan's job is to tempt, not only Job, but everyone. And it also shows that Islam doesn't root in Judaism. Islam teaches that Satan rebelled when he/she/it was told to bow before Abraham, as Judaism teaches that Satan was and still is an obedient angel, and that there was no rebellion whatsoever.

Well, that's it, sweety... lol.
