Have you ever been the maid of honor or the best man? |
| |
| It is a honor to be the maid of honor or the best man. I have been a maid of honor at the wedding party twice. The first time is when my sister got married when i was still a senior hight student; i was so excited then because it was my first time to be a maid of honor and also i was happy for my sister who finally got married. Thats a nice momory. The second time is for my senior hight classnate's wedding. She is my best friend and classmate so i was invited to be her maid of honor and i accepted without any hesitation. It was also a nice memory. As the maid of homor you could share the happiness with them and witness their wedding from the very beginning to the end which is such a wonderful thing. I am wondering how many of you here have ever been the maid of honor or the best men. Share your experience with us. | | | | | |

| | I was a bridesmaid twice. Once for my cousin and another time for my friend, But I was never a maid of honor. I was glad to be part of those weddings and I feel privileged to have worn a gown and walked the aisle and partake in the romance that is a wedding. I am to be married in church real soon and my maid of honor is my best friend. I love her dearly and would love to share my special moments with her and she is quite happy with that as well. | | | | | | |

| | Hi there Kelly Sun! Yes, just recently, I was the maid of honor on my cousin, who also happens to be my best friend's wedding. It was really an honor to be chosen as the maid-of-honor especially with the years that passed, with the two of us living far away from each other, she already made lots of new friends so I was really flattered when she asked me to be her maid-of-honor. | | | | | | |

| | Same to me when i was asked to be my high schoolmate's maid of honor. We got along very well during the school days but after graduation we contacted less. When she was about to get married she called me and invited me to be her maid of honor and it was really a honor for me and i accepted without hesitation. Now she is pregnant and i am happy for her that she will soon be a mom. | | | |

| | yes, we were too young to know things need to be paid attention to during the wedding ceremony, especially if it is your first time to be a maid honor or the best man, but actually no one really cared about that, and i was doing fine for the first time. Dont worry if you are still young surely you have more chances to be a maid of honor while at that time you will have a lot of experiences. | | | |

| | I was a maid of honor in my sister's wedding. She is seven year older than me, so I was pretty young when I was her maid of honor. I think I was only 16 or 17 years old. It was hard for me financially to do the kinds of things a maid of honor should do, so my mom helped me out. It was very fun and I was truly honored that she asked me to take a place next to her on one of the most important days of her life. | | | | | | |

| | Hi kellysun! I was the maid of honor at my best friends first wedding! It was many years ago and unfortunately the marriage didn't last more than eight years, I think! Then she got married again and I didn't go to that wedding! That marriage lasted longer, she has a 21 year son who is my godchild, but she got divorced again and it was a terrible ordeal! I was asked to be the maid of honor at another friends wedding, but couldn't afford the expense and she had 4 sisters already in her wedding party! And yes, that marriage also ended quickly in divorce! So, my friends who did get married didn't exactly have the best of luck! I hope yours have better! | | | | | | |

| | Hehehe. I think there's a show about this, soon to be brides turning into monsters (figuratively of course) during the planning of their wedding. They turn bossy and demanding and they check every single detail and give stress to everyone around them. LOL. | | | |
