UFC 114: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs "Suga" Rashad Evans  

In Evans last 6 fights, he got a draw on Tito Ortiz (first of the six), and won over Michael Bisping, Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, and Thiago Silva (last of the six). The only loss he got was against Lyoto Machida. 2 of those 4 wins came from KOs through strikes and those are really big names to his credit.

As a fighter, Evans only loss came from Machida and a draw coming from Ortiz, so technically, that's basically only 1 loss and 1 draw in his record. I don't think that it is "lost his last few fights". Evans is holding a 19-1-1 record including his Ultimate Fighter record. As for Rampage, he last set foot on the octagon on March 7, 2009. I don't see his dispute with Dana White as detrimental to his game, Rampage will still be Rampage and I don't think White will intervene with the results of the fight just because they've got some issues in between.

Another thing to consider for Evans is that he's helped train Georges St. Pierre in GSP's fight against Dan Hardy. Though Evans helped GSP train, for sure he's got something learned in return.

I thought he had lost since his fight against Machida.What I meant about the Dana White issues is if Rampage still has enough love and support for the UFC after the way he claims White has treated him.

I won't take anything away from Eashad.He is a great fighter, lightning fast. He is a very good fighter with mad love for the sport,fighting, and UFC. But still, Rampage is just mean .He's more powerful, has more skills. He's one of those guys you kow is going to kick your butt once he is mad.But he has lost a lot since movies and all came along. Even in PRIDE when Rampgae was beat by Machida he was still fighting, going strong.

It will be a GREAT fight and I hope it actually takes place.I'd do anything to see it live as it will probably be the last time to see Rampage fight.

One of the great things about MMA is it's unpredictability. Fighters aren't guaranteed a win because anything could happen. Grapplers are winning via KOs and stand up fighters are winning through submissions. The Evans-Jackson fight isn't exempted. Anything can happen in this fight but definitely this is going to be a very explosive one.

Jackson's strength and power is definitely something worth noting. Another thing to consider is Rampage's experience. Evans had 21 fights under his belt (19-1-1) while Rampage have 37 (30-7-0). I'm still confident about Jackson but ring rust might take it's toll. Anderson Silva had it against Demian Maia. But this one could be different because there's bad blood between these 2 fighters.

I think the sheer nature of Rampage will give him the fight against Rashad. It is a win he wants badly, and I am sure he has been training. It's going to be a great fight and great to see Rashad go to sleep! hehe!

All the talk really hypes up the fight. Both Jackson and Evans really hate each other.

If Jackson is in full shape then definitely it's going to be a very long night for Evans (or maybe a short one). Jackson is definitely the much stronger one between them but Evans is the quicker and more technical one. I just can't wait to see this fight this weekend, after all the words that has been said and the love that is lost, this is definitely going to be a very big fight.
