| | i Suggest u to choose joomla why? 1. easy to use 2. You said that u were a beginner so the best way is to choose the easier one 3. if you're pure beginner (don't know anything about Web Designing) you could start from learning HTML or PHP | | | | | | |

| | I am a dot.net developer but i have also worked and learned joomla. I have not known much about drupal. But both of them are good and popular CMS. As i have also learned joomla on my own. I would suggest you to go for joomla. It is easier to learn. As i could suggest you because i have already done it. | | | | | | |

| | While I have heard of Joomla, I am not quite sure I have heared of Drupal and I do not have enough information on either to fairly say which is easier. I do recommend searching for "html" "css" "C ++" "Javascript" and "Frames" , these things are most likely going to be used in any given script and if you can learn to do them yourself their is no need to have to learn really much about either of the two sites. I've used sites liek geocities, angelfire, tripid, AOL's Homepage service, expqge, those are the ones I have used in the past and for most I've had to learn a little HTML. | | | | | | |

| | Its a content management system. You should sign up for a free hosting that support Joomla, install it and practice on it. Also, youtube has some very good interesting videos on it. Its a very simple and easy content management system. Hope this helps | | | |

| | I suggest you use joomla, because in joomla already has many modules that facilitate us to create a web site,I have a comparison between opensource cms that I found from http://www.alledia.com/bl... Content Management : Joomla! Weak. There are only three levels of content - Section >> Category >> Content is available. That's it. No cross-categorization. To get flexibility, use a Content Construction Kit extension.[-] Drupal: Very sophisticated. It allows unlimited category levels, tagging and categorization. You can also create multiple types of content, each with different features. [+] WYSIWYG Editors: Joomla! TinyMCE comes by default.[+] Drupal : Probably the most common complaint about Drupal - it has no default editor.[-] Template / Themes: Joomla! Perhaps Joomla's biggest strength. Joomla has a wide selection of free and commercial designs.[+] Drupal Very few commercial developers and off-the-shelf choices are very poor. Most designs are custom-made. | | | | | | |

| | Moreover, there is one more advantage an important aspect of using joomla which is the thousands of extensions you get on http://extensions.joomla.org/ which makes life easier for web developers. Extensions are basically ready-to-use wide range of modules, components and plugins. You can always find the right tool to achieve your goals, most of them addressing the common needs. Note: Do a research on the tools if you do not want to risk before using it for a business site. | | | |
