How to increase your blog PR ?  

All i know is that, one has got to increase their blog exposure, in order to increase PR ratings.. One way is to actively promote your blog, and making sure that it always turn up at the 1st page of all kind of search engines, whenever ple are doing search..

It's best that u tag your blog well, in order to achieve such results.. hehe ^_^ Other than that, i dunno about other ways though..

To be honest the PR of your blog really doesn't mean all that much (unless you're planning on doing paid to review type stuff then they look at it) having a high pr doesn't make your page rank any better in the search engines and it doesn't mean you'll get more visitors.

Page rank is based on a few different things, from the age of your domain to the links you have pointing to your site/blog and what authority/pr they have etc.

If you want to increase your page rank what you'll want to do is work on building incoming links to your site/blog - the higher the pr of the blog that links to you the more weight it will carry when determining your own pr

I was able to achieved a page rank of 2. Unfortunately, it is not for a blog. From that experience, I have a good idea how to increase the rankings of my blogs. It's classic SEO.

I think that using ping services as well as using traffic exchanges help. Going to forums on the subject of your blog and talking to other people interested in the same subject would help. Using, in other forums, the name of your blog and the link to it as a signature would be also helpful.

Actually PR is not that closely related to traffic.
It is the SERP that matters. Some blog with low PR has high traffic, since the blog targets a very niche market.
It is not just unique content or even perfect English. It is a matter of niche. Celebrity gossip news always attract traffic. But those people do not click on the advertisements and do not buy products

You could have a blog or a post on page 1 of Google with no page rank, with very little traffic though. I made a long post and has been in the first three serp results for over 8 months, has zero page rank, but little traffic. Similar posts have higher page rank but appear beyond the first three search results.
