| | That was a great news for those of us who loved basketball. I didn't know about him especially after his career with the NBA. There are some players like him who wasted a lot of money and end up with nothing. That is tragic. At least, he realized the importance of his education and finish it. I hope that he learns financial management also, including how to manage his children with different women. I just remember one player who was broke after his career was over. Have a great day. | | | | | | | boybato (2210)

| | Just like a lot of retired players, Anderson also lost a lot of money and in fact, since he became broke, I guess it's safe to say that he really didn't make some good use of the money he earned while playing basketball. Professional basketball players earn a lot and if they only use their money wisely, for sure they'll be better off for the rest of their careers and even their next generation. What's good about Anderson's story is that he was able to bounce and get back on track. Players like Shawn Kemp, Antoine Walker, and Latrell Sprewell are all struggling after they left the NBA and are either bankrupt or down with lots of debt. | | | | | | | Rolling Over Your 401k? | | Yah I remember Kenny Anderson very well.He is a good player and was a one time all star when he was playing for the New Jersey Nets. One thing I remember about him is when he was traded from Portland to Toronto Raptors for Damon Stoudamire but he refused to play for Raptors and so he was traded again to Celtics for Chauncey Billups. I think he last played for the Clippers. I didn't know about his whereabouts after his NBA career. Being broke is a common problem with the Nba player after their playing days is over. I am glad that he went back to school and finished his degree. | | | | | | | | | | 401K Plans Find the Perfect 401K Plan For You. Roth IRA Or 401K Rollover. individual401k.com | add comment | | | |

| | That was a good news but hope that this is also a lesson to learn for all NBA players who jump right away from high school or not even finished a degree in college to join the NBA. This is a true example of earning a lot of money but did not spent the money wisely. | | | | | | | | | | Senior Day Care Free We provide care for seniors daily.
