the election results are still being transmitted to the commission on elections. last monday, filipinos flocked to polling precincts to pick their new leaders. the leading presidential candidate is a son of iconic hero and heroine of democracy in the philippines. he rode in the popularity and credibility of his parents to the masses. the vice presidential result is the most interesting as the two candidates are tightly close. it was the first time the filipinos had an automated election.

Well, the election in the Philippines has just been over. It was last May 10 and now that counting is done, I think that you will find less and less discussions about it in the coming days. The election is a process of selecting leaders in our country. It is the first time that we have automated election. However, there were some glitches that happened. Long lines are experienced by many and some problems associated with it.

But it seems like Sen. Noynoy Aquino will be president. Vice Presidential race is neck and neck between Jejomar Binay and Mar Roxas.
A lot of the local posts have been filled already, with many winners already proclaimed.
So we wait for the results of the national polls.

well....we still have to wait until the winners are proclaimed. after that, we have to watch for their first moves for our country.

The most important thing is we know the flow of counting especially President and Vice Pres. We have now an idea who are leading.

The automated election here in the Philippines is successful. Obviously, Noynoy Aquino will win as the new president. Binay gets 800 thousand votes higher to Roxas as of the moment, but the counting is not yet done. There are still many possible things to happen.
