Black Car or White Car?  |

|  You may not have a problem choosing black for your car colour in the temperate regions. But here in the equatorial climes, many people hesitate to choose it. Why, you may ask?
Let us go back to science. Black absorbs more heat. In my country which sits just above the Equator, the sun is streaking hot, mercilessly beating us out of the heat into the shades. So if you choose a black colour car, you will feel that the heat in it will be so oven hot that you may just boil when you get into it in the hot mid-day sun. Also, it cools so much slower than other colours.
Many people in my country likes white colour for their car. White someone looks bigger and deflect heat and light. so it is the preferred car colour. however, white is difficult to maintain.
So what is the colour of your car? Is is black?

| |  I would go with the white. :) Agreed it is difficult to maintain. But what is a little effort in contrast to years of discomfort. :)

| |  If I am having a sport car, white will definitely be my
choice. However, I always love silver metallic car. You
are absolutely right, black is absorbing heat and bad
for night vision by others. Black is actually a classy
colour and give a 'prestigious' impression, normally those
Mercedez, BMW and Volvo looks great in black.

| |  My SUV is dark green. It's been giving me a lot of problems here lately and I wish I could afford a new car or maybe a used one that hasn't been driven much. If I get another car, I would probably like to have a white one because I haven't owned one that color or maybe a lighter shade of green. Whenever I get a new car, I usually like to get a color that I never have owned. I just like to try something different all the time, in other words. I'm aware that white is hard to keep clean, though.
