hi carmelanirel yes I have seen one basement in a house my father bought as investment property and rented out. it was furnished completely with a game room and two bedroom, a small sink, stove and refrigerator too
and my mom and dad and I and my sister stayed down there while we were in this town to advertise the house for rent. whoever did rent it got a very good deal. that was a basement as nice as the rest of the house.
OH yes sometimes being the o ldest has it good side. Even my tablemates all younger a bit than me, are always making concessions or doing nice things for me that I can of course do for myself. he he

My sister and brother-in-law stay in his mother and stepfather's finished basement when they visit. I think that is good because knowing his mom, I would want to be where they couldn't hear me all the time. That woman is something! My sister has no problem with her, but I think that is because they have a lot of things in common. They are both pretty high maintenance.
