|  The Ambulance left next door about an hour ago.
Taking one of Bob's kids to the hospital for a drug overdose.
So about now, he should be experiencing the pleasure of having tubes shoved up his nose and down his throat and in his penis and all that really FUN stuff that goes along with taking pills.
I was downstairs at Bob's on his computer scanning some pictures for his sister, when there were several LOUD thumps and crashes from up above. Next thing I know, Doris (Bob's wife) is hollering at the top of her lungs for Bob, so I race upstairs and into his son's room and find him in a heap on the floor bleeding from his nose and mouth with his computer monitor on the floor next to him.
At least he was breathing. Barely.
Some people can't handle emergency situations...I had to yell at Bob and Doris several times to call for an ambulance while I was attempting to get Joe off the floor and get some type of response from him. He opened his eyes once or twice, but I know he wasn't seeing me...totally unfocused.
After what seemed an eternity, the paramedics arrived, and I left the room. About 15 minutes later they brought him down, loaded him in the ambulance and left.
From what little I know at the moment, it appears he took several of his Dad's pain pills to get "high"...idiot.
Yeah, I used to do pills...and yeah, I too was hauled off in an ambulance (more than once) unconscious and barely alive.
Which gives me every right to say what a f***ing idiot he is.
Bob and Doris just pulled in next door, so I am assuming that they have everything under control at the hospital, and Joe will be okay.
At least until I get a hold of his stupid a** when he gets home.
I'm liable to put him BACK in the hospital for doing that crap.
It's amazing how much I hate drugs considering how many years I did them.
*5 minutes later*
Okay, he's home...I guess they didn't keep him. I go upstairs, and he's on the phone talking to his girlfriend and started asking me who went through his stuff because when he "woke up" his monitor was on the floor and his desk laying on it's side and the OTHER pills he had are gone.
Idiot doesn't remember me coming in, throwing the desk out of the way and dragging him off the floor and onto the bed. Just sitting there with a stupid grin on his idiotic face like something funny happened.
I left the room before I hit him dead in his face.
Have you ever wanted to just beat the (expletive deleted) out of an idiot?

| |  Goodness I am glad that you are moving away from all of that drama. Perhaps you can get some much deserved drama free alone time that you deserve for being such a good neighbor. I don't blame you I would have wanted to punch his lights out too. I do feel bad for the parents as well but I probably would have wanted to at least scream at them for not beating the crap out of the welp to start with.

| |  oh my G Bob is not helping his son if he has that stuff where his son can get it, or no no he would not have given to his son surely not. Maybe Bob needs to think things through too along with the son. The son had got to take this much more seriously, or do the pills sort of make more of an idiot out of a person. Seeing what I saw as a nurses aide, thats a silly question to ask, of course the pills mess up the brain too.Like someone else just said maybe he has not hit bottom yet. Hope he does soon before the next time is worse and he does not make it.

| | hi lambie I was hoping the experience had uh maybe taught him something? uh, I guess not if he was more concerned about his monitor than the fact that he could have died right there. I worked for years as a nurses aide and often on the 3 to 11 or11 to 7 shift and the night shift is usually the worst time for people on drugs to hit the hospital. these three men were all high on something and my close friend the nurse on first floor was on duty.She was going to argue with these jerks ,even though one had a gun, and not give them what they were after. I whispered to her stall them while I phoned the police, So she heard enough to tell them she had to open up certain places,which of course she did, while I went into the store room, used the phone and called the police,. telling them quickly that one man was armed and all seemed high on something. I dont know to this day how the police got in and got the druggies without the one shooting one of us but they did. I think maybe all three were so stoned on something that even the gun was of not much use. too the three police officers were larger and more physically sharp then the three drug addicts. I was just glad that Dottie did not get shot.After that incident the hospital put a few security guards on the night shift and they did make rounds and they were armed too. I learned to really hate drugs and wht they did to people hooked on them like that. I saw a lot those years even though I was just an aide and not a registered nurse. | | | | | | |

| |  HA. what a stupid kid. i hope he has a "fun" comedown. i agree with you there though - you've done things like that yourself, you have every right to think he's an...expletive. lol. i hope he's okay though, i guess. but how old is he? like, old enough to know he was doing something stupid i guess, considering he wanted to get "high" off these pills... in which case, he probably deserve to get tubes shoved up/down him. i hope he's proud of himself for making mommy and daddy worry like that.
