Since I couldn't sleep any longer, I thought I would just get on here for a bit and see what everyone is doing. I know most of you intelligent ones (unlike me) are probably fast asleep!! Since it is about 1:30 a.m. in my part of the Country!! But, I just had to share this little bit of humor with you all!!
O.k., so I am laying in bed, still trying to sleep, mind you...when it happened!!! I just couldn't believe it!! But, why should I be surprised you ask, I mean, after all, this seems to be a daily routine. But, not this time...NOT THIS WAY!!!
So, I decide that I just can't sleep anymore. I am having too much pain. I decide to just get up for a bit. See if the pain will go away!!! So, I roll over and my toe got a bit cold. Kind of like I had stuck it in some ice or something. So, I set up to find out what is going on. And, wouldn't you know it, not only did one of my kids leave me a "gift" but, apparently they also "scattered" the gift from the floor to my bed....UUUGGGGHHHH!!!!
So, I was like, "o.k., I guess I guess I will just get up"!!!
Now, that would have been just fine. Hey, I am soooo used to picking up pukies, it isn't even funny anymore.
But, as I sit up to put on my sweats and socks and blah, blah, blah!!! I see that I can't wear my sweats. The "gift" was left squarely on my sweat pants. On the butt part no less!!!!! How icky. Believe me, I really don't do icky first thing in the morning, right out of the box!!!
So, then, I had to go digging through the closet trying not to make too much noise, so that I could find another pair of sweats.
Oh, and did I mention that my bladder was really, REALLY screaming at me the whole time.
Hey, I was just trying to get my pants on....before I go to the potty!!!
Oh well. We just gotta do what we gotta do!!! And, to top it all off, there my cat was, at the foot of the bed....just looking up at me!!! I didn't even get an apology from her!!!! She just kinda laid there. I think she was more upset at the fact that I was awake and had turned the lights on than anything else!!!
I hate stepping in cat pukies!!! Don't you?? Luckily, we are all WASHABLES!!!!!
How do you respond to things like this?? I am just curious!!!
