No fair!! The rest of New York State has been planning to do that to NYC for ages!! And Puerto Rico has been begging for years to join the union as the 51st state too.

Yes, I've wanted to achieve the impossible, but then I did--and now it's not impossible anymore. Now, it's impossible to think of anything else that is impossible.

Just as aside--I used to live in Billings, Montana--where one of the local radio's call letters were K-O-O-K, I kid you not!

but this is more on a personal level.When I was sort of coerced into
coming to this retirement center my son said, oh mom it willonly be for a short while as I will get a good job and we can again be in our own apartment. well now its been over a year, and he has not yet got that job and I am getting a little tired of this retirement center.At least he has got some resumes in to some new jobs just coming out finally, as a computer programmar for many years he has much more experience than the younger ones but I am feared that his age of fifty is actually keeping him from getting hired, I do so hope this is not the case. but I am grateful to have a roof over my head, three meals a day etc, but in case any one again accuses me of getting this free, it costs almost a thousand dollars a month, taken ou t of my social security and ssi checks,I am partly handicapped, so that the hell is not free,nor is my internet, thats one of the reasons I slave away mylotting a lot, so I can pay my internet bill each month,and save my one hundred and twenty five dollars that are left for me monthly for personal items I need. so no I am not rolling in money. Nothing is free in Southern Ca and people had better believe this.

We in the southern half of NM have also been talking about building a wall around Santa Fe and Albuquerque and giving them to the highest bidder. May be what we do is just de-unionize all the capitals and pains-in-the-but* cities in each state and let them govern each other to death. And the rest of the country will remain the 50 states. Bet we'd get along fine without them for some time. Oh, and I'd let refugees from the capitals and Pib cities in to the rest of the country, without papers, before we'd freeze our immigration numbers.

You could come to Ohio, we kicked out MOST of our corrupt republican government years ago. We just have to work on our state government who continue to act like idiots, buying time till they can try to bring back the corruption. On second thought, I won't do that if I was you. I do hear that Arizona is nice this time of year LMAO!!!!!

You should just move to N.H. We don't have those types of problems. We even have a politician named WEED. so before you get all cozy in your new home, you should move this way. You'd love it. Oh and we don't have sales tax. Just a thought.

You may find yourself achieving many impossible things if you can do just this one to begin with. I suggest you leave the summer humidity with Chicago when you do secede.
