| Your favorite Chuck Palahniuk Book?  | | | |  Since reading Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, he has become one of my favorite authors. I saw the move some years ago, but reading the book really helped me to understand what exactly Palahniuk is trying to get to with his books. Though very easy to read, I think Palahniuk is a truly accomplished writer that has an approach to writing like no other. A lot of people don't realize that his books delve much deeper than their surface stories, which is made clear in Fight Club, a novel that outright speaks against the established civilization of the modern world.

The fight Club movie is very good and based on experience, whenever I see a good movie that was based on a book, I enjoy the book better.

| |  Oh, wow! I'm having a very hard time answering this question. "Invisible Monsters" and "Survivor" are duking it out for first place. I love how Palahniuk writes (an extremely messed-up) female protagonist in "Invisible Monsters" but the amazing format of "Survivor" keeps me recommending it to friends. However, while working at Barnes & Noble many years ago, when "Choke" came out I found myself selling at least 10 copies a day just buy talking it up. I love how absolutely misogynistic it is.
But then again, I haven't finished reading "Tell-All", his newest novel. So I don't think it would be fair to make a proper judgement call.

| |  I can say that "Rant" is a good book because its style really suits on how the story should be told. I'm currently reading "Diary" and so far, its cool.
