First Concert? Favorite Concert?  

Ive only been to one live concert and i loved it, i would much rather see a live preformance that listen off the net!

Before I became a "responsible adult" I used to go to concerts all the time. Being raised in a larger city gave me the luxury of having the choose of a plethora of shows on any given weekend. My first concert was Lollapalooza '92 (I know, I'm showing my age here). It was awesome, a huge festival setting with pretty much every band I liked at the time - NIN, Jane's Addiction, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains. But the best show I ever did see was The Pixies. Man, that Frank Black sure does know how to put on a show.

I'd go to any metal, hardcore concert...even if I don't know them I get totally pumped

sadly I live in Switzerland and none of my fav. bands've had concerts here. I'd really enjoy Visual kei(kinda Japanese rock) concerts though.

My first concert was Mcfly when i was around 10, they were huge at the time.

My favourite probably has to be young guns, front row, it was jsut a truley amazing gig and the lead singer is so fit!

Concerts aren't becoming less popular for those reasons...sky high tickets prices are the cause.

20 years ago, you could go see 6 top bands in a festival for $20.00...now some single acts are pulling better than $40 for the cheap seats, and $200 and more for front row tickets.

It's really not worth the cost...

First concert: Molly Hatchet/Henry Paul Band (1980)

Favorite: Neil Young solo in the summer of '83...outdoors with just Neil and his acoustic on stage for 3 solid hours of entertainment...

I dont go to that many concerts myself although I do enjoy them. Ive only been to a handful of concerts. But my favourite would be BayFest where they had many different country singers including Lady Antebellum.
