Just how the heck does Lucky Magic square work.   

Every number from which you subtract the digits will equal a unique number. For example, 24 -2 -4 equals 18. Not other number will equal that so there can only be one number or symbol to represent it. THINK!

I cant believe just how annoying this really is, LOL. 10 attempts and it got it right 9 times. I am not the best when it comes to mind games involving mathematics so I just cant see how it works.
Hopefully someone here in myLot will know the answer to this puzzler. I am sure it is very obvious, just not to me.
It was fun trying, think I will send it on to some of my friends and see if they can work it out.

It works because there is a specific symbol that is there every ninth symbol. If you choose a number and subtract the two digits you will end up the number that you subtracted behind the one that you choose. This is the same for every number you choose.

To put it another way, if you have a number say in the 70's, say 75, if you subtract the 5, you will have 70, all the numbers in the 70's will go to 70, and then if you subtract the 7, you will always go to the same number which is 63. So every number in the 70's will go to 63, that's where the makers will put the symbol in our box. They will do this for every 10 numbers to 99.

This way they know where to put the symbols, and what must go in the black square.

It is all mathematics. =P (although I can't brag, I am horrible at maths)

It's awesome tried it 5 times an got ot right all the time, I couldn't understand who it works .....

I honestly dont know how it works. I have never heard or seen of this site before you post. I do hope you figured it out and it wasnt a waste of time.
